Word on the street is Little John got hit by a big storm a short while ago. My wife is now on her third trip to the basement in Clemson.
Edit: Talked with our Tornado Hunter JP. He is in the process of following one of the tornados though the east side of Clemson.

Soooo....if USC loses by 50 and CU wins by 50 I owe you $100 .
If that's too rich for your pocket book we could make it a dime a point.
Same outcomes mean I'd owe you $10.

Calling it "100 percent" a distraction, Clemson defensive coordinator Vic Koenning backed down today from comments about automobiles for Julio Jones and B.J. Scott that implied shady recruiting tactics at Alabama.
Koenning told reporters at Clemson: "I don't worry about other people's stuff. I've got my own grass to cut. I guess I made a mistake in cutting a joke."

Meanwhile in Mobile, Vigor coach Kerry Stevenson was not amused, telling Press-Register columnist Mike Herndon that Koenning "better not come back on this campus."
Koenning's visit to Vigor, Stevenson said, occurred around the time of the school's prom, and Scott had rented a sport-utility vehicle -- Stevenson said he believed it was a GMC Envoy -- to take to the dance. Stevenson said Scott's car, a 1980s-model Cutlass, got stolen during a visit to Birmingham since he's reported to Tuscaloosa.
"That's defamation of character," Stevenson said. "He just outright lied."
Clemson head coach Tommy Bowden had this to say in a morning teleconference with reporters from both schools. ...
"I've recruited the state of Alabama for 10 years and have never had a problem with Alabama or Auburn, either one. That's why I was kind of surprised such a big thing was made. Vic, of course, coached at Troy. He's got friends in the state. I've got friends in the state, have never had a problem with either school, and the guy makes an off-the-cuff comment. I know we're really looking for things to write about and talk about on the Internet and talk shows. If we would have had some bad blood in the past, but here's a school that's had zero bad blood and has recruited that state actively, so I was kind of surprised that it snowballed and got momentum that it did. I didn't say anything to him (Vic). I think he said during the statement he was kidding. We didn't recruit him, Julio Jones. So that shows you how, I think, kind of insignificant a statement it is."
To this point, no one at Alabama has not responded publicly to Koenning's quotes, but folks in the athletics department are clearly aware of them. Koenning said he text messaged Alabama assistant Burton Burns, who "said there was no question they knew it wasn't (malicious)."
"It was a bad judgment on my part," Koenning said. "Again, I'll say I learned even if you say things in a joking or unconventional way, how it can be construed. Again, I can't say this strong enough, that I made sure and went back to everyone who was there and made sure that it was just joking. I tried to make the effort that it didn't get the legs that it did. But that's the way it goes. I understand the environment."

Sounds good to me. $1 a point for the differential. Don't know if you've seen it but I saw the spread for you guys as 11.5 points. I think you'll probably end up pulling it out in a tough low scoring game but I don't think you'll beat the spread. Should be interesting though.

I don't know when we beat them last, I think we are like 2-11 vs them all time though or something bad like that. We did beat them soundly in that first matchup though.
I think that's right, we last beat Bama in 1905. They've won 11 straight, but the last one was in 1935, I think. Looking forward to Saturday!
