How many teams in the top 25 did you beat? Oh....none thats right. Still one more poll to come out little man and after Auburn puts the smack down on you and we torch the Badgers you will be below us again. Still have to see the BCS poll too. Would have liked to have whipped your ass in the Peach but I am glad to have a new years day bowl with a higher payout.....in short a better bowl where a better team belongs:flipoff2:.
 
Actually we beat at least 1 team that was ranked when we played them. :flipoff2: Oh and were higher than you in the last BCS too. :flipoff2: Its a good thing you didnt get to Atlanta to be graced with our presence and play us cause we all remember the whipping you took last time and another one would probably be to much for your miniscule UT brain to fathom.

Like I said....War Eagle will stomp you, we made it to a better bowl than you, we will win our bowl, and we will end the season ranked higher than you. Let's work on your gramar that you have learned at that backwoods farm school before you try to rip UT. What is your law school ranked? Med school? Oh yeah don't have them....I'm not even going any further with this one Richard because you will get exposed and lose. Just work on finishing up on your undergrad before you hit 30 Tommy Boy :grinpimp:.

well if richard needs to check his grammar (it has two m's) you might want to brush up on your spelling..........

and Clemson's architecture program which richard and I both majored in is ranked in the top 5 in the country second in the south only to NC state

by the way nate hows that UT degree working out for you??

and if you want to make fun of some one for being a career college student that would be me :D richard is finishing up his masters in may; get your facts straight little man

I dont even want to start an argument on which school is better academically having a med school and law school doesnt mean you have a good university it means you have the only real university in some bumfxxx backwoods state with more cows than people. The dumbest guy at my highschool in VA couldnt even get into VT but got into UT. Were currently ranked the #27 public university in the country, UT is #45. In case you didnt know I already have a higher education level than you do too, so dont go after my tenure at Clemson. Have any other asinine(this means stupid for UT fans) comments you want to make?
 
Allright lets tone it down. There is some good trash talk going on here. I'd hate to have to delete it. No personal attacks.

The crappy UT degree is working fine JP....Territory Sales Manager of the Carolinas for a Fortrune 500 company is an okay gig. :D

I respect Clemson....my fiance went to school there. Just like getting a rise out of you boys. I am sure you will knock em dead with that architecture degree. Clemson's grad program was actually ranked #2 in the SE, UT's #10. UT's undergrad #2 Clemson's not ranked (don't know if they have one though) so UT doesn't have a bad program either. No hard feelings :crybaby:?
 
Didn't hit a nerve. Every year about this time I have to say the same thing. Wasn't directed toward you. No problems. I like the ragging it keeps you on your toes. All in good fun.

Anybody know about an internet rumor about Bowden entertaining leaving CU for Arkansas? I heard it on the radio this morning.

seems it is true....... he did interview for the job. My feeling is he is just trying to play his cards and put pressure on Clemson to give him a better extension and not lower his buy out.

time will tell........ although I am not a tommy lover, I hope he doesn't leave atleast not this year. we have another good recruiting class coming in and the loss of our head coach could shoot that all to hell; plus next years team should be fairly loaded on both sides. I'd like to see what tommy can do with them..........


*edit* arkansas is going to offer somewhere near 2.5 millon a year that is about 1millon more than clemson currently is............ maybe tommy is on his way out; the pickings for head coaches out there are already thin this year I wonder who clemson would go after if tommy does bolt???

Well its 8:30am and it seems like Bowden is pretty much done and gone. Now the question is who the heck are they gonna hire cause there isnt s*** out there. I think a Tommy in hand is better then any of the available options right now. How bout that huge recruiting class we are putting together? Thats probably shot to s*** now, its gonna be hard to keep a lot of those guys when half or more of the staff they have met is gonna be gone. Good job naysayers. :flipoff2:
 
Tommy is not worth $2.5mil. But, you are right... not much on the market right now. Might have to go for an assistant somewhere that's ready to make the jump and hope for the best. Worked for us, but doesn't for all.
