........ uh what does that have to do with the fact that Wake could be losing the best thing to happen to their football program in decades???

are ya nervous Andy :D

Yep, color me nervous.

Just like Tammy might be gone to coach your OOC opponents the last 2 years should he be canned...

La. Monroe, Temple, Furman, La. Tech, FLA Atlantic...

:flipoff2:  :flipoff2:

trust me brother I am no tammy lover......... unfortunately he always does just enough to save his hide!!! I am very interested to see what he does with next years team he should be loaded.........

but whatever happens it gotta be better than being a LOWF fan

plus they wanted a real football coach not a lucky magician using smoke and mirrors to steal one.

LOL, as usual you're in a very small minority with that opinion:

- 80 out of 80 voters (that would be unanimous Richard) voted Grobe the ACC Coach of the year in 2006

- Grobe was named the AP Coach of the Year in 2006

- Grobe was the Bobby Dodd COY in 2006 but don't fret, since there is a "team excelling in the classroom" component, Clemson is exempt from consideration... :D

Crawl out from under that dairy cow in your back yard, brush off your overalls and start dealing with the fact that Clemson and Tammy will continue to stay mired in perpetual mediocrity while Wake has been, and will continue to be, a class program on the rise.

Yep, that's the best part. Tammy never gets the results the delusional Clempsun fans expect but does just enough to keep hanging around to deliver another disappointing year...

Believe me, it would be my worst nightmare to have to trade allegiances with you. From the diploma, to the football team, to the alumni network, to the academics, I feel pretty good about being a LOWF fan. ;)

worst nigthmare?? I guess 18 conference championships and a national title aren't as appealing as LOWF's whopping 2 conference championships; and after this saturday you won't be able to go on ranting about your reigning title...... it was nice while it lasted but it is time to come back down to earth

and I don't know what your references to academics has to do with the football thread; but lets be honest you went to WF not an Ivy league school don't try to come off so high and mighty :grinpimp: Clemson is a quality public university, and WF for a private school that takes in roughly a 1/4 of applicants that CU does your SAT's and such aren't that much better for a school who can be a lot more discriminating........ ;p

Ha, ha. Hit a nerve?? :grinpimp:

No high and mighty here mi amigo. Go back and look at my post, Ivy League was never mentioned because it isn't relevant...

I wasn't starting a debate about academics (as that wouldn't be worth the time to initiate) but stating that being a LOWF fan and associated with the school is fine by me, especially if Clemson is the subject of comparison.

And I still wouldn't trade, no matter what, not in a million years! :flipoff2:

yeah whatever you're just another private school elitest frat boy........... atleast you sold your landrovers :grinpimp:

oh and just to get back on track...... do the numbers 44-10 ring a bell :flipoff2:

all in good fun

Its not hard for people to think your a good coach when you have a lucky yr and your joke of a team wins some games. If someone went to Duke next yr and won like 8 game they would probably win coach of the yr. Doesnt make them a good coach just means they got lucky at a school that is traditionally garbage. Just like Grobe did. If you consider one good yr and then dropping back to the middle of the pack being on the rise than you can have it, you have 1 good season to talk about that doesnt equal long term success last time I checked. :flipoff2: Clemson has tradition, a national championship, more ACC titles then Wake has in all sports combined, and were 60 minutes of play away from a 10 win season.

Uh oh, I though name calling was against the rules. Shame on you JP!

And what does "elitest" mean???? That must be some of that backwoods, cow pasture Clemson vernacular I am not familiar with... :grinpimp:

nope just my inept spelling ability........:grinpimp:

This part is priceless!!

That slogan is probably hung on a big banner somewhere in Death Valley!

If it smells like a delusional Clemson fan, looks like a delusional Clemson fan and sounds like a delusional Clemson fan, well... :grinpimp:

Your team only has 1 10+ win season in its entire history. Thats like 105 years of football and 1 10+ win season. The sign in your locker room would probably say something like "60 minutes from a 4 win season". After last yr I thought I might give Wake just a little shred of respect then I realized, you only have 7 Bowl Games in your entire history, that puts you on the same level as South Carolina. :flipoff2:
