A friend of mine saw him at 5 Points drunk at 2:30 am the morning of the Auburn game. Some have even said that he threw the game for a bet in Vegas. Doubt that is true but the boy sure did throw like he was trying to throw games.

Yeah I wonder who paid him to fix the Clemson games the past two years.
I bet it was some other ACC school.
I hear tell the UGA boosters paid him for the butt cutting UF got.
Bagman paid for the Wildcat game. Could of been the Mob.
Geesh
:grinpimp:

I personally wish the guy the best. He ain't no demon.
He got his degree. He had a good time.
I'll always remember him as a warrior who delivered back to back
butt whuppings to CU. THAT doesn't happen very often.
Hell, who knows?...Maybe Shaw will get hurt and Garcia can get a 6th chance.
;)
I'd buy the Dude a beer in a skinny minute.

Not good news on the Titan Clash. Woe is us po ol Lamecocks.
Senile coach with a slumping running game and new QB
throwing up wounded ducks to out of shape slow receivers.
A suspect defense. The sky is falling and the NCAA is calling. Shamecocks indeed.
Uh oh.
Straight up....who wants some?

Nope, im pretty sure he is set on beer. Best of luck to him in his future. As for your money, im sure its going to that pretty little blue sports car

Gundy are you trying to become poet or a singer??? Your post are gettin kinda scary...either that or you have too much time on your hands to come up with this stuff.....what's your name gonna be, pumkin gundy?

Gotta give it to ya for standing by your team even when the SHTF.

Just glad it isn't my team. Curiuos to see what happens when a big bad SEC defense knocks around the little 18 yo.

If I was Lattimore I would hall ass before Spurrier ruins another future NFL'ers career.

I type it as it comes to me. Easy to do. No real forethought is required.
Now doing a closing argument...that takes a bit more thought.
Scary? Well it is the Halloween time!
Boo!
:grinpimp:

That's "Who wants more". I've got my eye on some liquid sunshine.

Oh I ain't forgot Pal. I "might" consider a little advance on the bet for the
UNC vs CU clash. You guys need to be in rare form.
:grinpimp:

Just trying to raise a dough for UC.
;)

Shaw opens up the playbook for the HBC....i like the options this guy gives us.

Shaw has always had a better deep throw than Garcia.

He's also better at the short pass.

Personally I'd use him to controll the tempo of the game with short safe passes with slants routes/ throws to the flat and screen passes with an occasinal toss up throw to Jeffery or any of the other 6ft+ recievers down the field on a first down just to keep the defense honest. And with that i'd ride my running game now that the other defense isn't stacking the line.

I wouldn't make my QB's fight out of the hole...only the big uglys.

What Shaw lacks is experience. He has a tendancy to hold the ball too long (as do most QB's with wheels) and likes to stare down his reciever.

In the limited playing time i've seen of him he doesn't freak out like garcia and throw the pass where it can be intercepted.

The issues i've seen are those that can be corrected with coaching and playing time.

He runs the ball smarter than garcia did. Hopefully he will avoid big hits. IN the Kentucky game he was smart about sliding and going out of bounds.

there is no better cure for staring down your passer than having the ball come right back to you.

How does a less mobile Qb with a weaker arm open up the playbook?

Obviously he didn't make it out of the hole or he would have been that starter to begin with.

Did you not watch that game? Those long bombs were SWEET on the money.
He ain't a linebacker like Garcia but he is IN FACT more mobile and faster.
Heck I know it was against a pop warner team but dang man, those QB runs and options
were NASTY. He's got giddy up. Pretty ball in the air.
Now I know it is nowhere near as Clemtastic as Mr. Boyd but a serviceable QB & USC could be scary.
Stats don't mean squat and are for losers but USC ranks up there in the SEC in O and D numbers.
They have put a pretty nice horse under the new jockey. Just keep her between the rails and I think they'll do OK. Even if it is the next QB down the line. Close ranks. Move forward.
Hope Boyd is going to be OK. CU's O line better do it's job next week on the road.
