Most consider CU's bowl game a waste of a television spot where you could be watching a rerun of Seinfield or Family Guy.

The Chica bowl will definately be exciting.

The Lattimore and CO. need to get used to playing in the Georgia Dome, they are going to be there going to be making more trips there soon!

Not sure I'd want to go back after that showing?

hey...Cam Newton is super man.

The Auburn team S.Car and clemson played a few months ago is not the same Auburn team we saw the last few weeks of the season.

Cam Newton was worth every penny they paid him, i'd go as far as saying he was underpaid.

What a crazy game last night.

I'm with you on this one, Troll. Glad to see you guys pulled it off, especially after it was declared "game over" before the review. Nice win.

Tigers were about 2 feet away from a chance at a miracle finish, how does that guy not know the ball has to go 10 yds? :bang:

At least watching Lattimore get smacked in the face and the cocks lose picked up my night.

Lets move it to the bball thread now.

I noticed the Tigers newest greatest QB ever cried after the game and KP got his ribs broke..
and he cried.
THAT made my lunch Friday.
;)

Big Ben played an entire regular season game with a broken nose, while Lattimore spent the biggest game of his career, so far, in the hospital with a busted lip. Guess SC football is full of crybabies.

Jeremy

Watching Lattimore cry (after he regained consciousness) because someone hit him made my dinner so I guess we are even. Never seen someone come out of a game because their mouth hurt.

Speaking of which, dohcdelsol93's mouth ought to hurt given all the crap he talked about the ACC all season and how it is such a horrible football conference.

Ironic his world beater gamecocks couldn't muster the opportunity to win a nationally televised, Friday night NYE bowl game against a lowly ACC school...

if he was tough like Deandre Mcdainel he would have been right back in the game.......... D-mac had his front teeth knocked lose in a game this season. Went into the locker room had them wired back in place and played the rest of the game; that dude is hardcore

the SEC East has it's first weak season in what 5 years??? The SEC west is more than good enough to make up for it. With Ark, Bama, Auburn and LSU the SEC is still not a weak conference no matter how you measure it.

S.Car played great when they played the tide and UF but other than that when it matterd most they were a let down.

Recruiting is still taking steps in the right direction and we have a great core of guys coming back for another year.

Another run at the SEC east, can't wait til Sept!!!!

SEC is still better than the ACC...or any other conference for that matter. Who has produced 4 of the last 5 NC teams???? And it looks like number 5 is coming up soon.
I'm still happy that even after they hit a huge skid after the Gator game they still knocked off the tigers for teh second year in row.

Quit riding on the coattails of other real programs like Ark, Bama, Auburn, and whoever else you mentioned, and quit comparing yourself to yourself. Facts are facts, the SEC is sub .500 in bowl games this year and USuC is part of the reason.

SEC sent more teams to bowls than any other conference, and could still win more bowl games than any other conference, played in much better bowls overall than any other conference, and could win yet another NC... in a very down year for the SEC.

Still the conference all others wish they could be like.

Without picking your opinions apart it still remains fact that dohcdelsol93 talked smack about the ACC all season and yammered continually about how it was the supremely inferior conference by all accounts. It also still remains fact that his mighty gamecocks ended up on the losing end of the Dec 31 bowl game against the lowly ACC / FSU.

Justice.

Switching the topic to how great the SEC could have been doesn't change the fact that USC failed to step up when it mattered. Same thing, different season.

I am sure more gospel about the blindingly bright future in Columbia is pending shortly...
