Rrroooooooolllllllll TIDE!!!!!!!!!!! I foresee a back-to-back title!
For those SC fans attending the Bama v SC game, see ya there!

I'll be pulling hard for Rutgers and ECU to make you 0-4 when we roll into that glorified soccer field you call home in Oct.

So much for the USuC starting TE. South Carolina TE Weslye Saunders suspended - ESPN

Your quoting your own man. Lol

That glorified soccer field houses 60,0000 people currently and has the second phase of contruction currently going on for an additional 3,000. Not bad for a school that has sucked in football for a long time. Give UNC a few years to really get going.

At least we don't put people in the stands where plans come into reach. While I like going to go see a game at death valley. It's not the reason I put it above Kenan stadium. Clemson flat out has better tailgating.

the tide are by far the best looking team coming into this season. Only losing one game in the past two seasons was no easy task.

The only thing bama doesn't have is a proven QB IMHO. If Bama comes out with a QB who can throw the ball all over the field any teams on their scheduel this season might as well start their backups because it's not going to be close.

NT would beat UVA and PC/W&M is a push. We have Auburn and top 15 Miami as the other 2 games around that bye. You make it sound like theres no other games.

So do you when you talk smack like that. We barely slid by Virginia in 2008 and I'd be hard pressed to say we could have beat them last year the way we played some of our games...mainly Maryland and USC. You need to come down off your high horse and reallize that Clemson is, and will always be, a half assed football team (regardless of the "top shelf talent" they recruit every year according to you) until they start playing with some balls and consistantcy.

And that's coming from a Clemson fan.

Stadium looks pretty good in that artists rendering, kind of West Endzone-ish. I'm actually looking forward to heading down for that game should be great weather that time of year and hopefully a pretty big game if we are both playing well. Plus its close enough to do it in a day and keep the price down.

Dabo and his staff have made huge strides in consistency, cutting down on mistakes, and physical play and I expect that to continue. He's only been at it a little over a year and he got substantially more out of his talent last year then the previous regime would have.

The only thing half-assed in here is your Clemson fandom.

I don't think anyone who walks around with blinders on all the time is a fan either. None of the above means that I won't be pulling for them every weekend and jumping up and down in the living room. I hope Dabo can pull it off. I'm ready...

Probably not as bad as falling flat on your face and getting steamrolled a month later, huh?

Jeremy

I agree. That GT steamrolling the next month hurt worse since looking forward to that game
was, according to CU fans, the reason CU it's butt cut by the Shamecocks.

Never fear, CU is back Baby! Who is this year's Heisman candidate?

To me the only thing Dabo has done that the last coach didn't do is coming out onto the field holding hands with his guys like at any given moment they are going to break into a fully padded game of red rover.

They did the very same thing that the previous coaching staff did...come up short in the big games and blow games that most had checked off as easy wins.

According to all the Garnet/Black kool-aid drinkers it's... Marcus Lattimore.

Nice game USC, I forsee the Smelley/Garcia debacle all over again. However, I think you have enough other weapons this year offensively to squeek out another 7 win season.:bounce::bounce:

Uh....the kid's name is Shaw. You'd be wise to write it down. You are going to hear it for
years to come.
Did you catch that first TD run? Thing of beauty.

that was a good game last night.

Nice to see plenty of 3rd and shorts.

The O-line played well...the real test will be next weekend.

Garcia made some bad passes, on 2 of them it looked more like HUGE blown routes.

Either way it's been a while since we ran a score up like that.

Thank god we had a running game

I actually found the TD pass to be nicer than the run he put that ball in a great spot. I agree we will hear his name plenty, probably in quotes from the old ball sack that sound like "Shaw is being pushed hard by that other kids #whatever and hasn't solidified the position" or "we need better QB play out of the starter" or "all the quarterbacks are playing pretty good I wouldn't be surprised to see Shaw and (insert QB name here) both play this weekend" Spurrier does the same thing every year kills all the QB's confidence by playign them both and jerking them around and none develop. Haven't you realized that yet?

Oh yeah...you could just see the lack of confidence in Garcia. Tenure as a measure of starter or not
is stupid. Ask Willie Korn or what's his name, CU's starter, and that Heisman candidate backing him up.
Tell you what I've realized . CU pumps more sunshine than the sun.
NFL starting QB. That's some serious Cheer-leading going on in Cowtown.
How's that working? Oh yeah. 34-17

Parker has more chance of playing in the NFL than Garcia does. He's already proven he has the talent, work ethic, and phsyical gifts to be a pro athlete all Garcia has proved is that he can throw to wide open receivers against a horrible pass D.

how can you look at Garcia's numbers last year and say "he hasn't developed"???

over 2800 yards thrown in the SEC last season alone (disputabley the hardest scheduel of any team in NCAA last season) and 17 touch downs.

He looked calm cool and collective last night. I don't think it's wise for him to be taking hits, him and Shaw both need to learn to slide.

What you guys saw last night was an SEC team beating the snot out of a lesser conference team....Clemsux fans are only trying to rain on the parade...come the last game of the season we will be seeing an SEC team march into death valley and dominate another lesser conference team.

I don't always agree with the decisions of the HBC but if your players upper classmen or freshmen a like don't earn the right to keep their starting position you have to play someone that will. If your a true "team" player that's all the motivation you need to work harder/practice harder/train harder/play harder.

Sometimes a QB even doesn't need to do that when you can get 58 rushing attempts against ACC Division Champs!
Like I said...sunshine ain't in short supply around Death Valley. Get yer Pom Poms while they last.
Hurry, supplies are limited. The bloom on the Orange rose will fade fast this year. Probably down on the Plains.
