That's what I did. I bought new chrome FJ62 manual mirrors and painted them black.

Also - I can't believe one of our resident engineers haven't designed a gasket for the 70 to 60 conversion, or maybe dismantle/figure a way to combine the mounting end of the 62 with the mirror end of the 70.

From what I've seen, you can't put a 7x mirror on a 6x base. (I'm talking Euro style).
