Anyway, that base is the same as the one on the "Euro" mirrors, I know because I have them. So it seems the larger head WILL fit... in the Euro base... And that base is significantly different from the US style mirror bases....

What year 7x mirror on the 6x base?
I haven't seen any convex 7x mirrors around here, maybe there's something better/newer that can be put on the 6x base, with heat and a better/wider view...?

Yup still available. I can get the Genuine Toyota Euro spec mirrors. It is $339 a set.

The Euro mirrors are convex on both sides... and they feel sturdier.

New OEM mirror parts are not available. You have to buy the complete mirror. Already asked this when I needed an end cap for my Euros.

I had to source from overseas from a good buddy.

I have some Delrin on order to try and make the contoured spacer. I also ordered a set of the 70 mirrors..

It will be a few weeks, but I'll let everyone know how it turns out.
