FOUND THEM !!!!

Brand spanking new. Arrived today, will be installing tomorrow. I'll post some before and after shots.

Found them at cruiserparts.net

They took about two weeks to get here. They told me that they have more.

Parr numbers
87940-60372
87910-60142

Also came with the gaskets. Not the screws.

$149 each. Not THAT bad. It was my late christmas present. From me, to me

Wow , that is a great find! Merry Christmas!

Nice ceiling fan :flipoff2:

I always thought the black mirrors looked WAY better than chrome. Still wanting to try a pair of FJC mirrors on my 62. I like the idea of heated (and lighted) mirrors. Black of course.

Good find. At that price what steered you away from the Aussie/euro convex mirrors?

Norhing other that i really wanted these .The Euro mirrors were my second option in case I couldn't find these. If cruiserparts didn't get them, I would have gotten a pair of the euro ones.

I've had my heart set on these for a loooong time, so when I found them, I pulled the trigger.

Is the passenger's side mirror convex or is it flat like the driver's side?
The USA chrome passenger side mirror is convex to give a wider field of view.
Thanks

I just took them out of the box to look and they both looked like they were convex. Once I put them on tomorrow I can give you a better answer.

Great work!

Though you might want to check to see that they go on correctly.

Those parts numbers are not listed at all for any market FJ60/61/62.

They are listed as 7x series mirrors. :hmm:

Agreed^^

I believe you will have to make a contoured/profile shim to make them fit right since they are for a 70X series. I think @crushers or @darwink1 had a write up on this awhile back..

Correct. The contour of the mounting bracket is incorrect as is the bend. There might be screw hole differences as well.

I tried this at one point and it was not easy nor plug-n-play.

IIRC the bolt hole is the same. Shaved down black Delrin/UV ABS for the spacer would work nicely.. (but time consuming.. :hmm: I LIKE CHALLENGES... )
