Where in Peru was this? I spent some time around Tacna, on the Chile border; the landscape looks very similar (like most of coastal Peru!)

Was curious if certain colors have aged better than others now that this is 10 years old. My vote is gunmetal grey but I'm biased, thought it looks much better new than faded on a 30 year old truck.

White, gray, or beige would be my first choices. I own a freeborn red truck, which is my least favorite color. I actually dislike the color, but the truck was too clean to pass on.

I am partial to the Dark Grey Metallic (155), then FJ62 Dark Blue Metallic (8B4), then would have to go with Silver Metallic (147). I like the Tan of course for just a basic color. The recent resurgence of beige as a color option on modern vehicles is nice to see. Mine is Root Beer which is fine, but if I had a choice in the matter I would have gone with one of the above.

Adding to the revived thread. My '84 FJ60, which I bought new, is beige, and I really like that color. However, my recently completed '86 FJ60 is blue, and the color is really growing on me.

This is funny. I too like red the least (almost), and have a freeborn red truck that was too hard to pass up. Though my preference on colours varies a bit with your...beige, white then grey for me. However, mine is a work in progress. If mine was a clean as yours I might actually start to prefer the red!

Nice to see that white has a decent following. I too like white but also like smurf blue or tan. Just can't wait to accent it will a little bit of MUD.

Mike you and I think alike. I really like @Cruiserdrew ’s baby blue 60. I thought about going that route later when I repaint but do love my off white/ kaki color. White ages very well.

I really like The Dune biege and white.

But When I first went to see this truck in Las Vegas I was man it’s brown.
And faded.
But i brought it back somewhat to life.
And had grown on me.
