To get back to the theme of this beer thread...Mrs johnvee consumed a Pilsner Urquel at dinner that had a sell date of early 2015, from the same batch I mentioned here on 2/7/2016 that was skunky back then. I told my dad to throw them away back then. Nice to see he listens. So I opened it and was immediately fearful of my stomach considering the hot sauce I consumed at lunch. The wife wanted a sip then drank the whole thing.

It's a game now. There are enough left to sample one every February until 2024.

This was a good one last night - much more malty and heavy than expected, but good taste..

Ive got the centennial too :D

Did your lil transplant plug make it?

Maybe try and do something with those this year. Trying to get mosaic and chinook too this spring but grower had some overwintering issues.

It did not make it. It was unhappy on the ride home and, over the next few days in water, dried up and died.

Sigh, it's going to have to wait until the weekend before I post. GF and I decided to only drink twice a week. At least the weekend considers Friday as part of it. Was at Unknown and Wooden Robot, had two beers each there. but forgot their names. Either way, they were IPA's and tasty. JohnVee, I am surprised that Pilsner Urquell was still good.

First 6 pack of these on Sunday but they are super tasty. They went down real quick. Not sure what I was working on in the garage but hell I didn't care after the last one.

Two new Japanese beers. The IPA was amazing. The Yam beer was also pretty refreshing, brewed with japanese blue yams, which explains the color.
