dont get the crappy wally world fire extinguisher albeit its better than nothing but they usually dont put out squat...a vehicle extinguisher normally gets used to put out secondary fires ...like the bush next to you! or someonelses rig!! BUT If ITS YOUR RIG BURNING.....UM Well one is better than none
Make sure you get at least a 10 pounder and an ABC rated ( class A, B and C fires)..ie Class A your seats and dashboard. Class B your battery and winch cable..Class C ..gasoline , oil ,tranny fluid etc.

You need to have a parking brake. That's about as technical as I'll get.

The bunkhouse is $50 a night. They are great!
They went up 5 dollars a day this year. Still well worth it.
parking brake works. Hopefully if i can go maybe someone will split a bunkhouse with me. We'll see. And yes boomslappy i thought about sleeping in the cruiser via homemade platform in the back. Gotta do some thinking.
Temporary homemade platform = 1 sheet of plywood, some 2x4 wall studs (maybe 6-8), screws and small L brackets.
Or if you don't camp much pick up a cheap tent from Wal-Mart. Bring a standard blue tarp in case the sky opens up.

Gabe, if the wife/daugher don't come i've got a tent big enough (2 rooms) that you could crash in.
If the wife/daugher decide they want to come i've got a spare tent you can use, or can even borrow if for some reason i don't go.
What kind of activities are there other than wheeling. The wife and daugher are anti-wheeling, are there any hiking trails, places to ride bikes that would keep them occupied for 2 days while my son and i enjoy the cruiser activities?
and last...how long of a drive is it from Greenville?

Bummer...school is still in session; a couple of weeks later and it would've been no problem. I really doubt if I could get leave approved this late in the year. I may get to come up for Sat. I had such a great time last year.

Yes, Burgess Falls State Park is about 8 miles from Golden Mtn. Well worth the trip - amazing water falls and you can swim in the river.

, it could be construed as edgy! LOLI had a buddy in November at a Rover event I was sponsoring who didn't camp and he wanted to sleep in the back of my Pig with me. I said "sure, but if you snore 1 time I'm rolling you out in the cold." It was going to hit the low 20's that night. He thought I was kidding - I assured him I was not.
Send them to pigeon forge for the day with daddys $$. I think i may build a simple platform and sleep in the dent. If u do go and i get to go(may be the real issue) I definitely will get with u about food and such. I don't want to buy a bunch of stuff we will never use again. We'll see.
