Gotta admit that looks good. I'll go back to my

Like anything else, I think it depends on who does it.. no sawzall or bushwhacker flares here :)

to keep it on topic I’m 99% most likely going to do this on the Musturd 75, since it needs quarters anyways, in conjunction with a Terrain Tamer kit, have it on the shelf ready to go, just need to find some time/motivation

That looks sweet, have a couple of quarters on my shelf for the ‘68(if I can ever find the time) with this in mind.

To fix my cruiser lean in the rear I left the rear passenger side leaf blocks how they come out of the box. I ended up moving one of the bottom driver side blocks to the top on the driver side. It now sits level in the rear.
Rear driver side floor to fender lip measurement = 34 3/8"
Rear passenger side floor to fender lip measurement = 34 1/4"

On the front the driver side is sitting about 3/4" higher, so I may swap the blocks on the driver side the same way I did on the rear driver side to see if that fixes it.

Put the KM3s on today. Really love the stance with the TT Parabolics. A lot of salt on the roads here so more indoor photos for now. Looking forward to seeing how these springs ride when it warms up.

BTW I moved the front driver lower short leaf from bottom to top like I mentioned I did to the rear in the previous post. Sits perfectly level now side to side. Its been a fun project.

Do you know the color that you used on those factory wheels? They are the perfect "shade" of grey in my eye for these wheels. What a beautiful 40.

I take it no rubbing at full flex with those?

Thank you. The wheels were restored already when I bought this 40, so I cannot say for sure. But I have an idea of which shop may have refinished them before I bought it. Let me reach out to them and get back to you. I agree it is the perfect shade of grey.

@wngrog should be able to answer to that better than I can. He posted some pictures a while back of the rear fully flexed with the TT parabolics and a bigger tire stuffed nice and centered into the rear fender well.

EDIT: See post 158: Build - The KY40 - Tilda Bogue Service Station - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/the-ky40-tilda-bogue-service-station.1359851/page-8#post-15948849

One thing that I wonder is if the lower straight section will act as rock finders for the rock crawling crowd.

Where did we land on painting the TT shocks black vs IMS on ride quality? Yellow just isn’t an option.

TT black is not available for 40/60

I'll say the TT yellow are way beefier than OME and Dobinsons which I am convinced are Monroe

My 1983 Nissan Patrol 160-series had parabolics stock. They worked real good. I think I will give these a try on a 62-series we are building.

Cheers

Pulled the trigger on TT parabolics, thanks to George at Valley Hybrids and Jonathan for his input on these as well👍. Should arrive by Monday. Thanks again to mud community for everyone’s input and expertise.
