They just look big even with the 2” lift of the parabolics. Gorgeous truck!
I’m having a hard time with my camera angles lol. This was well bought by one of my customers out of SC iirc.
I THINK the first time I’d seen these tires was on the Mule 2.0 of @Chungas Revenge fame.. each time I see them I fall in love with them. They look like noise generators but I have no idea and would love to ride in a 40 with them on it.
When I replaced the tires on my other Chevy pickup, I accidentally did a search for noise ratings and was referred to the Michelin Defender… as a commuter Chevy pickup, those were super quiet with hardly any road noise. I have had trucks and jeeps pass me with really huge stubby tires and you can hear them 50 yards behind you and 50 yards ahead of you.

A little 60 series tech
If you want a low and level stance and you are not rocking a rear bumper, put one or both of the spacer shims on the top of the rear pack.
From TT the FJ60 fronts come with both spacers above the main springs and the rears come with both on the bottom.
This (all things being equal) will give you a 1" rake.
This customer wanted his truck as low as possible so I put the rear spacers on the top to match the front.
Truck sits low and level.

Seems the packers are good for about 1/2" and can be moved around for lean or level pretty easily compared to a multi leaf pack
We have a brief window in our weather that it warmed up and then rained to wash the salt off the road. I got to put a few miles on it today after valve adjustment, castor shims, city racer booster and some carb tuning. What a good 40.Def After-After

I’ve gotten another Saudi 79 via Saudi. Great truck. @Meshal stole all of my business by refreshing everything under the truck before he shipped it (along with the usual seals and gaskets)
This is a REAL nice truck. 100,000 kilometers. Still smells new. I picked it up last week with the
75 I’m about to make into a rock whomper.
All I’m doing on this one is adding a Terrain Tamer Parabolic suspension and tires and wheels.
This is the second 79 I’ve done. The first was Ward Harris’ truck. It turned out so nice we just did it again...
