Thanks - I need to look into this. Might not work tho - since the halo has two inputs wires, depending on which color you want to activate, rather than just one. I'll review this wiring diagram on the Amazon link you shared.

I gave up on getting the turn signals to blink so that I could get them installed for now and at least aim them and drive the truck while I look for a better solution.

The low beams are bright as hell. A massive improvement. And they were pretty easy to get adjusted with a phillips screwdriver and a wall.

I think my lows are aimed a tad bit too high still, as I am getting people flashing their brights at me. So I will drop them down a bit more.

The high beams are aimed super weird out of the box. They both aim to the exact CENTER of the road about 100 yards in front of the truck, overlapping each other, like a massive spotlight. Very unhelpful and silly. I managed to raise them a bit so they're shining ahead of the vehicle rather down on the road, but they're still overlapping each other. I need some left/right adjustability on the high beams to adjust them away from center and make them useful. I don't see an adjuster screw for left/right on the high beams - so I've contacted TEQ Customs to ask about it.

More on this as I get it sorted.
How high up the wall is the cut off?

Position the car 25 feet from a wall with low beams on the wall. Adjust the upper cut off to 4ft off the ground. This has always worked for me.
Your lows are too high.
How high up the wall is the cut off?
That's exactly how I aimed them-- 25' from a wall at 42" for upper cut off. I've had to drop them even more to get people to stop brighting me. The upper cutoff is now at 32" now. I'll do more test driving tonight.

They're just really bright!

double check the alignment. i like to pull my vehicles up to a flat wall, mark the exact center of each low and high beam on the wall w/ blue painters tape, then back up 25'. adjust so the drivers left _/ slope is 2" below the center. adjust the passenger _/- slope so its continuous w/ the drivers and slopes up past the passenger center. high beams adjust how you like but dead center is a good place to start. there are some better tutorials you can search up

so these are LED low/high beam projectors? how's the projector pattern compare to HIDs you may have on other vehicles?

regarding the switchbacks; they are designed to be white constant and interrupted to turn amber as a turn signal, then "switchback" to white. may as well just hardwire them amber as that is the look you are after. got any straight on dusk/night shots of the angel and demon eyes?

what lights are in the ARB marker locations?
Good points on alignment of the _/- slopes for the lows. I was looking at that actually last night and realized it would make more sense having them aligned with the slope at centerline of the road.

Yes, they're LED powered low/high beam projectors. You can configure the lights in several different ways, you don't have to do projectors for both. That's just how I chose to do it. Now that I have them aligned, I think the low beam projection pattern is fantastic. I think the high beam pattern is meh. It could be better. What I don't like about the high beam pattern is how concentrated the light is. I feel that high beams should have a widely dispersed light pattern, giving you more general, ambient and peripheral light.

You are 100% correct about the switchbacks. So, yeah, I came to the same conclusion and hardwired the amber, abandoning the idea to integrate the turns. I'm okay with it.

The ARB marker lights are a Baja Designs light that gives a wide even light pattern. They're a great additional boost to side lighting of the main low beams.

Look at this installation guide, p. 10. This is how I aligned my projectors, and after an additional 1/8th of a turn down, I haven't been high beamed in two years.

What's the benefit of having dual projectors?
Well I had hoped the high beam projectors would be brighter and evenly distributed. They're bright, but not very evenly distributed. So in this case, I'm not sure they're much a benefit. There were multiple options, however, these are just the ones that I picked. I chose the Mini High Beam Only Projector for my high beams, but in hindsight, I wish I had picked something else. I did not understand the difference at the time of order. I still am not sure if any of their high beam offerings would have given me the dispersed light that I wanted.

Good feedback for the rest of us considering this upgrade

At least it looks really cool. I could see it being beneficial if one side was led and the other hid. Or if the beam patterns were drastically different from each other.

I wonder if a D2S Micro projector would fit in the Depo high beam. Double low / double high is a pretty compelling option.

i think you have the best high beam option, as it IS a projector and LED at that. so instant on when flashing the highs. the other common high beam option is like a pencil beam.

have you tried adjusting the high beams for optimum spread?

still, those look great

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I really like them. And I feel like I have them pretty well adjusted and the high beams do actually help. I'm glad I did it.

FWIW - I just wanted to acknowledge that after I received my order, I’ve had to contact the vendor multiple times with questions and TEQ Customs has been really responsive and helpful.

I’m think they are having some sourcing issues, which doubled my lead time. Hopefully they get that sorted out.

This might be helpful for someone in the future. These are the old DEPO housings I took out, but the alignment is the same as on the new ones. This is the PASSENGER side housing. The DRIVER side housing would be the exact opposite.

don't get me wrong, my low beams and my high beams are an order of magnitude better and brighter than my previous Depo's with H1 and H4 bulbs.
