It doesn't look like you put any drag on it. Put a glove on and press it against the ring to create drag while spinning the pinion.

Press the pinion against the ring gear? So reach down in to the carrier and press down on the pinion while turning it?
No hold the ring so it has resistance to turning and spin the pinion. Freewheeling the diff won;t give you a pattern.
What's the start time?
A girl and her toddler rent the apartment above my shop. We probably shouldn't wake them up super early. I'd think 8:30ish would be fine, maybe folks with kids can chime in.
That'd be a good in my house if my kids slept in until 8:30.

Who's bringing coffee and who's bringing doughnuts/bagels? I have several block of cream cheese I froze from the last tech day.
Also, bring cash if you want to eat pizza or whatever group lunch we decide on; otherwise bring your own or go hungry.
I just said pizza because it's the easiest to handle. Any other ideas for lunch?

Depending on how long swapping my rear third takes I'd like to install my new radio and figure out why my 12v outlet/cigarette lighter doesn't work.
