Hey guys! I can make this!
Ryan, would it be frowned upon for me to come work on my tie rods? (Assuming I can get them from Cruiser Outfitters in time).
I’m the guy (Chris) that just emailed you for a quote on that and a knuckle rebuild and tie rods.
It will be my first CLCC event and I’ll have my dues in hand. Regardless, will come to observe, learn, and help.
Thanks!
If it's anywhere close to as accurate as your eyeballs, take it to the bank.I don't see why it would be. So long as your a member it's all good. You'll want an alignment after the TRE's which probably isn't going to be doable on a Saturday. I've got a toe gauge to rough it in but it's not super accurate.
I have the supposed unbreakable set of tie rods to swap out of my forty with the current one splinted with a high lift jack handle. I will be somewhat hostage to the weather in driving down but should make it one way or another.
Found this while researching rear axle rebuild.
