Check the link in my sig for the tire carrier I made years ago in my high school welding class.

I'm getting a little frustrated with fabricators in general. On my third fabricator for this project and it's more delays after delays.

I hate to hear that, and I can imagine the frustration part. Then you take the design overseas and find good, responsive, eager, certified shops willing to work with you and everyone will blame you for not keeping it stateside. The cycle never ends.

Whoa! Looks very interesting. Any experience with this company and their products? No description on materials or specifications on their webpage.
Edit: I reached out to them, waiting to see if I can find other information
Izzy, did you find additional info in this bumper?

edit: NM just saw the additional info you posted.

My Summit Cruiser kit is in pieces in my garage. Need to find some time to get it all together. I think it's going to be awesome.

I guess I'm a little partial to my son's @SUMMIT CRUISERS Jr kit. With a 1 3/4" spindle welded to an 8" piece of 1/4" 2x4 this swingout is super stout with no shake even with a 35" BFG. Here's a couple pics of his latest version with the highlift jack mount option that I finished last month.

first carrier is in the mail. This one is only tacked together to check fitment and to locate a lighted license plate bracket.

One good thing is it went together with out issues with parts cut as drawn. I should have something to post next week.

^^^^^^^ Yes, I like the set up too. If I were to do one, I would dispense with the 2" tubing bracing and just use 1/4" plate gussets. It would be plenty strong and would not take up so much real estate on the main arm.

Some folks might like to add other items where the tubing now resides. I would also nip the square end off the bottom piece (see pic) of tubing near the bumper wing, since it lends no additional strength. Then just cap it off.

I've got a bolt on carrier coming out soon. All the bits and pieces are at the shop and the fixtures are being produced as I type this.

basis compliment

holds a 35" tire on a stock rim, others also
custom 4x4labs spindle, sleeved for strength and serviceability
5' hi-lift jack
cb antenna
lighted license plate
works with stock tow bar

Here is a couple of pics of the prototype used for determining placement and fit.View attachment 1523448
