Haven’t driven it yet but it starts and runs better than before. I will be finishing the gauge cluster before I take it for a rip around the shop to identify any potential problems.

Can confirm this thing drives and it is absolutely terrifying in the best way possible
The brake line fittings being s***ty definitely adds to the terrifying

Steering feels tight but also weak ish
Pretty much can’t feel anything bump wise
New turbo is absolutely insanely quick on the spool up re thinking the nitrous and will probably just donate it to the lemons car

Back to making dashparts when I’m not at the shop, upgrading my printer to print hotter materials that won’t warp in the sun hopefully

Drove the cruiser some more and it’s definitely time for a trans rebuild… I beat on it pretty hard before the ifs swap
Already have the parts have just been putting it off
The classic 1st gear thrust washer and an hd bearing holder
Should handle 500hp no problem

Will probably just give the steering more leverage for now
Definitely want to add hydro assist as well down the line

There just happened to be another R150f 20 min away so I can drive it and mean while I’m going to rebuild it possibly cryo and REM the gears with all the marlin parts

Everything is back in the truck driveline wise.
Now that it has been driven around the shop for the first part of testing I have a new list to meet the next milestone, driving it on the street.

The spindle is getting some beef. Dual shear everything. Got the 3d scan done for modeling should be done today.

Meanwhile
Trying to get this trans apart to send gears in for REM and CRYO because I like to drive it like a drift car. (Zero mechanical sympathy)
Speaking of drift car hydro hand brake and another pair of calipers are on the way.

Finally the only real issue
Steering is weaker than I want it to be
I have a lot of caster > 7* with 37s
Looking at doing the V2 of steering arms will prototype these as much as possible before I do those. Having minimal binding at full lock full compression.
Goals for v2 no binding
Mounts for hydro assist

Now that’s it is on the road I have a few more things to do but it does indeed work and feels pretty good steering has a little play need to try to really get those hiems tight
Was really windy and obviously no alignment so I guess that should say enough lol

Something tells me you have everything in your shop to do an alignment with the string.... but if not, here is an example

Lots of little things getting knocked out. Started dual calipers and the wide body with integrated sliders
Chopping the rockers and throwing some 2x10” boxed sliders there
Pretty sure it was mostly bondo on the driver side🤦
