care to elaborate on that? never heard that before. and jeez my truck has changed a lot from less than a year ago when Darrell took that pic. new bumpers, auburn LSD...etc

just said it wasn't optimal, if it's not leaking then I guess you're good. cool truck.

love this thread.

Thanks! Shes a sweet truck but ya never had leak issues.

Just got done playin in the snow with her and spun out because limited slips are no bueno in the snow

Yeah open difs are definitely better on ice, but being locked up is the only way to roll snow wheeling.

Twin sticks on 31s that sounds like a wild setup what crawl box?

Wow, back from the dead!

Yup, that looks like the complete absence of flex to me :hillbilly:

I came here to discuss, how do I make my 60 series flex more???????

Springs have to be able to move through they're entire arch. Overly tight spring clamps, incorrect shackle angle, incorrect shackle length, and incorrect shock length will kill flex. Nearly all the rigs in this thread have at least one of those issues reducing flex. On the other hand a leaf spring suspension setup purely for a lot of flex sua will lose some road manners.

What is your setup?

From the picture I can see:
spring clamp on right rear overload leaf appears to be fully engaged on the spring pack (remove the clamp)
You've got a swaybar hooked up.
Anti-inversion pin of the shackle is all the way against the frame, meaning the spring can't articulate on the shackle any more than it's doing now. Might mean too steep a shackle angle (either spring is too short, shackle mount is too far rearward, or something along those lines)

Things we can't see: what springs are you running? If they're heavy's, do you have enough weight in the vehicle to exercise them? What shocks do you have? If near stock length, they may be acting as limiting straps (bad for articulation and not particularly good for the shock either).

Pull the anti-inversion pins and that should release a lot of flex. They got your suspension tight like IFS.

Sway bars would be next to remove or just do a SOA, cut and turn, lockers, and never look back!!!!

Sway bars removed?
Front was on.

I have a rear now too and it really doesn’t change much. Just way less sway on rough trails.

I’ve got 3” extended end links front and rear.
