Yea... Waiting to see what rob wants to do. But i have a case. They want the radiator and the box.
Hopefully they'll step up and do the right thing.
Good luck with claims with either UPS or Fedex. Ask me how I know...
I the over 10 years I have been shipping parts i have prevailed exactly ZERO times with them. @cruiserdan will agree.
Read their fine print. They have a way of getting out of everything.
They are snakes.
I can't tell you how many times I've had to replace rads for free due to denied shipping claims
USPS is slightly better.
Good luck Andrew.
It would be nice to see UPS step up to the plate and hopefully they will but at a minimum you can count on Rob to back his products.
UPS et-al has a standard reply, used ubiquitously. "Insufficient packaging".
There is no way to beat it. Shippers are universally fxxxed.
Finally took a few hours this weekend to swap the rad. Also flushed the system with coolant descaler and swapped over from toyota red to green.
Good to be back on the road again......
Did some more work this weekend. Finished some electricals and cleaned out the rear, ive had the drawers out for a while now, putting them back in is nice. Also started planning the bumper install. Looks hella nice... cant wait to see how it looks.
Will probably look awesome. ...probably.
So possible divorce topic. We have been saving YEARS for a pool, and it looks like early next year we will be able to put one in. It just so happens that it more than covers the cost of an alucab pop top conversion for the troopy.... decisions decisions... i mean, i would be able to live out of the troopy at that point right? who needs a house......
There are mobility options with that thought. Plus you can pee outside.
I might be staying with you guys for a while if i choose poorly
A pool will make you cooler than a pop top....literally.
Priorities man! Throw a Hercules on that bad boy and install a hot tub instead. SOLVED
Who's doing the alucab conversions stateside? And, dibs on your RTT.
OK4wd seems to be the installer..... just so pricey.....
OK4wd is indeed the US vendor.
Have you priced a James Baroud tent or a Lance slide-in camper lately?
To be fair. If it was cheap i wouldnt let them touch my troopy. 10k about covers the conversion...
A nice rooftop tent is 4 grand sitting in a box. The AluCab is ~2 1/2 times the size of a rooftop tent so that sounds about right
Got some work done on the old girl,
old bumper out, surprising how little the bolts were rusted. easy peasy
running solo means engine hoist time!
Pretty damn sexy...
Swingouts go on in the morning.....
well this is weird, can everyone see the pics? looks good when i edit but red X when i save...
