@beno Hmmm I never had any issues in Texas on the beach.
- Well Make sure it isn't running lean. Running lean will make it run hot. That truck was started back in 2002/2003 so it is possible injectors are getting gunked up as it was the stock tank just enlarged and, lined with POR gas tank coating. Some of the lines are probably still original.
- I would check the Fan relay switch. It is a 185 degree switch so I would make sure the fan really is coming on at 185 and not triggering too late.
- If things check out and you just need more cooling check the Spal fan on the back of the Ron Davis and replace it with one of the newer fans that pulls more air. Should be an easy swap, basically plug and play for a fan with more pull.
- If that doesn't do it. I would pull the front grill, duct the radiator so the air that comes in the grill has to flow through the rad.
Delancy was teasing me in the 80's section still miss that ugly old pig!

I failed to take much in the way of pictures but here are a couple that I did take.
