Two tables in the restaurant to separate the decent folk from the troublemakers?
By the end of the night the line between the decent folks and the troublemakers was somewhat blurred.

This photo doesn't do the moment justice (pretty good hill) but this is where Charles "steps off" for the first time.

Awesome!

PS Dan, the Toyo pizza cutters worked just fine :)

While everyone was sleeping in this morning, I ran the 70 up the lift. I checked for the source of the new oil leaks, but did not find anything for certain. So I greased her and checked for loose bolts/nuts from the last few wheeling trips. But I was the only nut on the loose.

My truck got dirty so I'm never coming back. :)
Not to mention some knucklehead spilled oil in the rear bed.

Says the guy who went to bed at 7pm every night and didn't even do a campfire session.

Wimp!
You'll be old and worn out some day and you will understand and in my defense I was still on London time where 7pm is midnight. :)

There are folks that will clean it for a fee.

Option 2 is to buy a clean one.

As for the oil, just think of it as rustproofing.

You know you are special when a dignitary from the Mexican Government shows up to address your Land Cruiser group.

After thinking a bit more about this weekend a bit more, we need a park that is more friendly to new folks who don't have much wheeling experience or whom are new to the Land Cruiser.

I recommend a bigger "park" next year. Maybe Winrock in TN. Or URE in NC.

That way we can split groups for folks who want a bit more of a challenging experience and one group for the folks who want to cruise and trail ride/forest service road ride.

That will be one thing to make the whole gathering better for folks IMO.

:)

I did very much like the loose nature of the event, the rather ad hoc nature of the event. Very much in contrast to a "Land Cruiser" event so to speak.

The personal feel for it was what made it quite enjoyable.
