I dont know if christo swapped out the t-bars on his, but if he didnt then nothing i'd assume. I didnt have to do anything to my suspension to accommodate an ARB bumper which is similar in weight.

Winch + bumper on AHC? It might not like that...scratch that, probably wont like that.

Looks great - Options for lights?

I am curious if the design includes any lights on the bar? if so where did you envision them going, on the small bar or wider on the perimeter?

I cranked my AHC T-bars when I installed my front bumper per HOSER's suggestion. It seem to give more control to the front dampering. I was doing some high speed washboard road running yesterday and Im very happy with the control.

look closer, i saw some welded bracket on the bar

yup, they were designed to hold the big boy lights too, not just two small worthless poser lights.

It's recommended, but not required. Ya, I did it too :flipoff2:

So sounds like I would be all set with just tightening the T-bars if I were to get the bumper only (and possibly some cool off-road/driving lights).

What about if I were to also get a winch in addition to the above, any thoughts on what additional changes would l need to make?

I just finished a trip to the big island on Hawaii, and spent a bunch of time in the dirt with some rented wranglers. Had a ton of fun, and it only makes me more eager to equip my own baby with the necessary equipment for some good off-roading.

Thanks again.

I thought I would post a better photo. I am going to do some website updates this weekend with lots of pics.

Also, FWIW, I have the ARB Sahara bumper that came off this truck for sale. $600. We can ship. It is in decent shape, no dings or dents, but lived on the truck for some years. It does have the fog lights, but one of the lenses are cracked. Also the plastic trim pieces that go between the bumper and the body is cracked. I thought I would post this here before I throw it out in the for sale section.

Here is the new rear as well.

Christo, is this the color for production or will they be black?

 That looks AWESOME!!!

Initially I was not too fond of this bumper, but seeing the finished version on a LX has changed my views entirely.

Two question though:

1) How much adjustability does the bumper have up and down......i.e. can you minimize the gap if you have a body lift

2) What size tires (width mainly) and suspension set up does that LX have cuase it looks amazing

The 2ft tall camera man helps too ;)

Christo,
Any thoughts on my question about what changes I would need to make for an otherwise stock '06 LX to accomodate this new bumper AND a winch?

Thanks!

Other than shimming for leveling of the wings, none.

AHC on high mode and 325/65/18 tires - pretty much a 35" x 13"

Does it rub?

Also regarding the new rear, will there be safety chain hook ups for towing?

I like the new bumper. Just bought me a new 100 series and plan on making the trip over to Colorado this summer to get a bumper put on.

I was thinking the same thing, but for the rear bumper
