on another note, 1 part diff oil and 100 parts dinosaur water make a recipe for creamed coffee. got home and looked under my truck, driveway had liquid that lookd like coffee and creamer under front diff and entire underside was covered in oil, what the hell. I thought the break pedal felt a little soft all day Sunday, turns out the drain plug on my front diff had backed out to the point that only 1 thread was hanging on. I guess slamming it on rocks all weekend has a negative effect on parts but for the life of me I can't see why. Anyway, the leaking oil had to have been spraying on the breaks and making for the soft feeling pedal, fun!

I know how you feel Ted. My miraculously found shackle nut decided to take a vacation again sometime during our night wheeling I guess. My temp fix, as expected, didn't last too long. So I ended up driving all the way from camp to the trailer praying the bolt didn't walk it's way out. Full suspension "groom" coming this week!

I'm jones'n for s'more pics - bring 'em on guys!

great pic A.

After our little excursion Fri. evening it's got me thinking about moving the intake again, I just can't bring myself to spend $350 on a snorkel and HATE the crappy sewer plumbing other ppl do on the cheap.

email with pics link sent to all attendees.

The wife just laughed and said, "Isn't that the puddle that got a little water on our floor board?" :hillbilly:

Good to run into you guys. Good thing you did not show up to Andy's. We floated the keg on our own!

yeah i kinda feel bad about not makin' it and hope Andy's not peeved at us. We toasted him at fire pit, don't quite remember how but I know we did. :hhmm: But, we drove 3 hours to wheel that place and if we would've left in time for the party we just would not have gotten any wheeling in. As it was we barely scratched the surface.

OK... now I have some really great shots, but here are some of the not so fine moments and spooky moments.

not sure which is better, me high centering on an obvious rock and having to be winched off or getting caught by a tree
I think the cave is haunted by spirits.

Josh's right side really took a beating this trip: here, with the tree, his rear fender in front of the rear tire received some minor rework; then, on the rock, his front fender behind the front tire received some major modifications (not to mention the spring pack and the shackle). Then, as if to add insult to injury, we ended up having to change the front right tire in the middle of the stream because it wouldn't hold air long enough to get back to camp 1/4 mile away!

Andrew - was that pic taken with only the camera's flash or were there flashlights added into that? If not the latter, that's a hell of a bright flash cause there was NO light that far back in the cave.

Damn that was a sweet trip with perfect weather! Are those of you who didn't make it kicking yourselves yet??? :D

Steve,
Photoshop has an auto color correction feature so it brightened what I original photo. A nice feature!

Nice! Looks like you guys had fun. I figured you were going to XXXXXXX when I first saw this thread. That place is hell when wet. I think in some regards worse than Beasley.

edit: sorry eric, had to do it.

yep, we had fun but I know you didn't just give away the original destination. :whoops:  Everything was gated so we detoured.

no biggie. You might want to look earlier I saw [STRIKE]Blur[/STRIKE] mentioned in the thread somewhere.

Remember, WMAs are still private land, if abused the owner can close them.

thanksfor understanding. good catch, did not see.

Precisely why we're getting into the habit of being a lot more cautious with names and locations these days. Don't care if info about dedicated public or private ohv parks get posted, that's what the parks are there for. But, when it comes to non-dedicated areas (roads, wma(s), private properties, etc.) ya gotta cough up the bills for membership or get it somewheres else. We live in a world where everything gets closed so not gonna help 'em any more. I'm just sayin'

everybody get Andrews? he has some pretty good pics in there. check you emails.

I was cleaning up the interior this weekend and found a bag with some of my rain gear in it... with mildew! Guess the water didn't want to leave.

I need/want a snorkel too. Lemme know if you find something cool, functional and cheap.
