~Sucks we won't be there Friday but I will see you Saturday morning.
Not even going to try to make it Friday night?
I had something come up at work so now I can't even leave Memphis until around 1100 so I won't be there 'til probably 1900 or so.

we'll all be in bed by then :D

Weather looks to be not quite as perfect as originally projected. Nothing bad, but we may end up having a ride similar to the video Ted sent out. I was there for that and it was a light drizzle on and off the whole weekend which, of course, raised difficulty levels up by a notch or two. It also made some of the dirt hills very challenging. :steer: :steer: :steer:

who has an air mattress pump? mine has gone awol
Depending on what size inlet you need, I have a dual action pump that went with an air mattress that I just tossed; I'll bring it and you can have it if it works for you. Otherwise, I'm sure we can find a way to utilize OBA if needs be.

thanks Steve, bring it. I have the sized fittings from mine just not the pump itself. i may just go buy one at Walfart too.

To everyone else, if you have questions now is the time, I'm outta here first thing tomorrow am to drop off the animals and DO NOT forget your paperwork

~ and DO NOT forget your paperwork
I printed out the map and the rules page - looked just like hunting regs and I didn't see anywhere to sign. Did I print the wrong thing?

yep, you're right so i've spent the last 30 mins scouring the bama website for specifics on permitting. Short version, we're not hunting, fishing or geocaching so can't find any other applicble permits that're required. From other info I've found/researched/read out there the doc you have served as the "permit" so this is what we're going with. If all else fails our club attorney will be in camp on Saturday morning and we'll just have Andy bail us out.

I guess we'll find out when we get there but I'm expecting to see some sort of info board that are usually at all wmas. Bring $5 just in case we have to pay for camping I guess.:meh:

Ya know, FYI, I read somewhere that no alcohol is allowed in the WMA. Just sayin, if you're talkin 'bout legalities, keep that in mind.

When I was there, there were 3 groups camping... all of which were poundin 'em down so I'm certain its nothing to worry about.

dang it, you got ahead of me. look in the upper left corner of the map page, do you see what I see? hmmmm? does it say Signed and Date? hmmmm? I think it does:clap:

Red cups!

steve--found the pump so don't worry bout dat. Now, just missing my rain coat, Dennis musta kept it as a Beasley trophy :flipoff2: not gona worry bout it, not gonna rain so please no hex.

Roger Dodger. I will likely have extra rain gear... even though its not going to rain. :)

Well the first day was kind of a bust which was a little disheartening - to more people than just me I'm sure. But at The Cove the weather turned out absolutely perfect and the wheeling about the same. Great time! For those that weren't there, you're going LOVE some of the pictures... and the stories even more.

I'm glad we left when we did; getting home "early" was a nice change from the norm for me.

yep, bama was a bust. need more info next go around i guess but all is well in the end. After setting up camp and then breaking it back down 2 hours later we finally made it to tc about 8:30, never did make dinner, just pilfered your chip dip. I saw Andy broke a pitman arm near the waterfall shortly after we left that group.

I didn't get that many pics, and the ones i took of your truck late Sat are just too dark to see anything. Once we finally got moving Sat morning I just enjoyed trail riding and not worrying about anything else, this is why we have Andrew anyway, always there with at least one camera.

I'll post the rest of 'em later and email to everyone but here are a couple of highlights
