I don't want
To swim with snapping turtles....

I narrate when I bring the guys from work, which Halfmoon Gulch was one of those runs. They call me Mr Colorado. I guess there are worse things.
I would love to lead a pig party in Colorado. I will have to be honest, most of the best trails are more to the difficult side of the spectrum. Probably more than many of you guys are willing to subject your pigs through. Mine loves the abuse.
I am working on an "ultimate adventure" for a select few of the guys from work. It will be late summer and should be four days and three nights with at least 15 mountain passes. It will be spectacular!

I make a mix of favorite music and put it on CD like we used to do on cassette in the 80's. Actually, I am sure I still have some of those too. CDs are easier.
I only use the CD changer when I don't bring the old Zune. I know, I am stuck in the past. I like it there.

Excellent Pig Life quote!

I loved making mix tapes. I found a CD player that had a peak search fcn so you could set input levels on your tape deck. That was the bomb!

Now I just make playlists on the phone...

My generation is in a small window between gen x and millennial. Like most from that era I have fully embraced technology and use it as much as I can, but I can also change a tire or get my hands dirty.

I prefer to get my hands dirty. With what I do for a living I sometimes have to listen to people whine about there phone not pairing with their car or problems like that. I can learn, but I don't want to. It's infuriating to me. They always assume that the problem is the $40,000 Toyota not the i-phone that isn't worth a nickel. These are also the folks in the mountains complaining about poor reception and not being able to update their status while standing in front of awesome views with cool history.
Ok, rant over. I have seen you get your hands dirty on several occasions and look forward to seeing it again!

We did something like 18 passes between Ft. Collins and Chama NM back in the day when we first bought our brand new '73 FJ 40. Took about two weeks.

I probably have 150 mix tapes made back in the mid-70s to mid-80s when I traveled for a living. We did a 9 week motor home trip from CO to the west coast, Canada to Nova Scotia and back in the mid-90s. Deal with the kids was we couldn't replay any cassette until we'd worked our way through them all. Took all 9 weeks. Barely got it done.

18 passes and you didn't invite me?!? I am only kidding. I am still looking for someone to pay me to explore full time. Yeah, right.
Probably summer of 1974 when we did that trip. I’m guessing you might not been born yet.
