New basic rear bumper for the 100 series in Titus canyon last week, and my beautiful assistant photographer...

That's a nice looking rear bumper. Looks very OEM but is still noticeably aftermarket.

Got my bumper! Thanks Luke!

Received my bumper kit today. I was looking at the instructions that Luke provided 4x4labs rear bumper build
My main bumper shell does not have holes for the spindles to drop in. I got the double swing out kit and while I have a welder, I don't have a plasma cutter for 3/16" steel.

Am I the only one?

Can you purchase just the swingout or is this group buy strictly for the bumper kit?

You can leave the swing arms off to make it lighter, then install after you have the shell mounted. The shell isn't all that heavy, its just awkward because of the angle and you don't really have anything to get a hold of with your hands.

Thanks Dude. I ordered one with double swing outs last week. looking forward to this...

Bummer, call Luke or try a metal hole saw and some cutting oil. I can take pics and measurements if you need.

Thanks @Convoy. I'm going to need those measurements. I'm not looking forward to drilling those holes.

Ok, I'll post the info this evening when I get home.

Here's some pics of measurements, since my crayon broke halfway through the masterpiece I was drawing.

Note: this is not a crap weld, it's just a bad glare from the camera flash (since this is being taken at night time).

Thanks for posting this, it is kind of a bummer that the holes aren't drilled as I suspect most people don't have a 1 3/4 hole saw lying around...Anyway, is that 3/4" from the back?

All measurements were on the truck, the 3rd pic is of the pass side hole. The rest are drivers side.

I would call Luke and have him fix that for you. The shell should have come with holes pre drilled.

Have you contacted Luke? Sounds like you got a poverty pack crossbar, the swing crossbar should have the holes.

Luke is hooking me up and sending a new bumper shell with holes. I need to review my inventory list and make sure I have everything else.

I didn't think getting a new shell was even a possibility so already welded the shell to the sides, which means I am committed to drilling holes. I appreciate the measurements that were posted in this thread, if anybody else has pics, measurements, or can tell me what my margin of error is (1/4" off and your hosed), it would be appreciated, if not, no worries, it turns out drilling, welding and cursing can fix a lot of stuff.

4x4 Labs bumper is very well built. I moved my license plate to the right by using one mounting hole and two sided tape. I was going to relocate it but running wires for a light was going to be quite a hassle.
