Just a heads up for any and everyone. I order the el'cheapo $64.95 3 point retractable belt from seatbeltsplus.com.
The retractable mechanism keeps locking up when I try to fasten my belt by pulling on the shoulder strap. I'll keep messing with it but so far not real happy with the results.

Did you call them?

I did. Not much help, so I turned to the source I should have gone to in the first place, I asked my wife. She explained that you have to pull the belt across your chest from side to side as opposed to snatching it forward like i was doing. Problem solved.

Hmmm, good to know a few folks have used these and dig them. I'm going to order a pair also.

I believe I have the factory mounts located above/behind the shoulder- need to poke around and find them behind the headliner. Think I'm going to purchase the hardware with the seatbelts and then mount the retractor with L brackets to the floor/wall.

If you have bucket seats order the 6" metal extension. You'll find them in the hardware section. 12" buckle isn't very easy to reach between the seat and the center console.

She is correct, too much snatching never works...

Thanks for the tip!

I wil be installing these in place of the lap belts in the rear seats. OEM rear bench seat, no buckets. Therefore I purchased the exact ones PabloCruise suggested, hopefully no extension needed. I'll post up pics when I finally get around to the install. :D

My take on the retractable inertia reels for the 2nd row

Belts and body parts sourced from the front of a bj73. I tried to use tge belts from the 2nd row of an 80 but the reel top locating pin is longer than the body mount i had. Suppose if you had an 80 donor body the same idea would work
