Nolan,

Two questions for you. It looks like that T100 master has a cap that just snaps on, which is also what my HZJ73 has. I am interested in these Motive Power bleeders. Is there an adapter or something that works well with that snap on cap? I would think the pressure would potentially leak around it or pop it off.

Also, do you have a part number for those steel brake lines to delete the soft/small hard line near the caliper. I know you said they were from valley hybrids, but they don't have much of a website.

Thanks,

Sean

This adapter works on 80 series and the T100 as well as the clutch master

As for a part number. No. Valley hybrids makes them custom. They always answer the phone. Just call and they will make you some

Nolan,

Thanks for the information. One other question. When i pulled the brake lines off the front left and right caliper I had nothing to plug them with so the fluid from the reservoir just drained into collection containers. I did not touch the rears or the brake pedal or move the truck. Can you tell me in addition to pressure bleeding the lines, will I NEED to do a bench bleed of the aisin master cylinder?

Yea. I always bench bleed

So……..neither of us liked the way the 285/75-17s and 3” wide big brakes looked on the 75 so ….

Off with their heads.

Back with the 70 brakes and no spacers and the comparable size SWAMPER LTB

34x10.50-15 on smoothie Vintique wheels.

Jonathan already owned the tires and wheels from another project. Was I buying this combo new I would recommend using the 16” Smoothie Vintique or City Racer 16’s and 34x10.50-16 LTBs. I had to run a 1/8” slip on spacer to clear the tie rod end on the front with these wheels.

Slight tub rub at full stuff in the rear but not enough to worry about.

The LTB’s ride awesome on my 40. It’s like it has a 2nd suspension

Do you have a link to those wheels?

How do you like your Dobinsons adjustables?

If only we were not continents apart. We take off headache racks on brand new Cruisers daily and they eventually end up going to scrap metal.

Looks like the seller/PO upgraded to the optional more modern J70 rear view mirrors, which is a nice OEM upgrade.

If you work on the suspension, flip the shackles left to right so that the fixed end sit outwards like on the current J70's with a fuel tank under the rear, otherwise the spare wheel is in the way when servicing the shackle bushes or even greasing up greasable shackles.
