SAS9, who is ready to come back? There will be a few exciting changes in the campground before you all come back next year. I can't share them yet but they will be great for everyone.

On to business......

SAS 9 Campground Reservations

  • SAS Registration opens at some point after the New Year, along with that SAS registration opening, KOA reservations will be opening. Anyone who has a SAS confirmation/registration number will be able to call and make reservations. We will be working closely with SAS around that time to ensure actual SAS9 registrants get the first shot at sites and all registrations will be first come first served once we start receiving our copies of registrant names.
  • Once you have received a confirmation number you can call and make a reservation 970.325.4736
  • The entire campground, all 160+ sites is reserved for SAS members until April 1, 2025. At midnight April 1, 2025 all unreserved sites will be open to the public for reservations. You can still call and reserve sites after April 1, 2025 if there are any available.
  • A waitlist will also be available after the registrations begin if you are wanting a particular site, or cabin and those will be filled in the order they are received as well.

@ThatKOAGuy This is amazing. Thanks for working with the SAS committee folks on this!

I have my trusty 62, but threw a rod in the Shady80 (not worth/too rusty for an engine swap), so I’ve been given the nod to find another. 😈 If there are any other shady80s out there, my budget is low and rust don’t scare me none. 😉

Have you looked at what Proffitt’s has? Since they’ve been doing some 80 series chassis swaps they have 80 series bodies for sale. You can see some of them in this episode @32:00 mins.

In this episode we see one of our own SAS participants @DangerNoodle

starts @23:36

Those have been really good swaps so far. We had one of our clients with a 60 on 80 here this year as well. We also really want to get rid of 80 bodies lol.

There’s a reason she’s the SHADY80, haha. Too rusty to do anything to. If you touch her, she crumbles. Also, I have bolts up restoration dreams on a rattle can budget. 🤣😂

Love the homeless Jimmy shot. Believe it or not, I think we have a photo of Jimmy showing up to the Texas Convoy party in a business suit. It was like seeing Bigfoot.
Socks and 'stocks... Looks like he's fishing for a sale at K-Mart but in the best way possible.

Holy Mother of Wow! Amazing.
Convenient Homeless Ben crop too I see.

Coincidentally, I actually played a homeless man in a Salvation Army Commercial a few years ago...
It was chilly that year at round up everyone looked a little homeless...share the commercial or it didn't happen Ian

at :22 seconds in.

Need to find the better one we shot in Helena, this was in Chicago.

On purpose?
Oh yeah. I have had an inadvertent acting career.
We all pitched in when we could. I was the photographer/art director for years starting in Haiti just after the earthquake.

On a lighter note, see if you can find me in this one:

I knew you looked familiar the first time we met. Village People construction guy!
