Eastbound and down, loaded up and truckin'

We're chasing the backside of a storm so the OAT isn't too bad.

Just the Tiny Toyota and the camper trailer on the goose. Drove the 40 up to Proffitts for paint work. I'm forty-less, and that makes me sad. I'll be bombing around in the hateful eight-ty until it's back.
At least yours is still bombing. Mine is in the back 40 like a sad, neglected step child. 🥲

Just needed a little expert spotting. Didn’t even need @2fpower to winch me, even though he offered to. 😉

I guess I was too far back in the group a missed this.
Looked good to me but I was staring at your rear end the whole time. Here are a few shots if I had not shared them already.

Most be the power windows that are so hateful 😂

PO problems. That 80 is full of gremlins. A testament to how robust the 80 series is though, it keeps charging along. Though 80 window motors are terrible.

At least yours is still bombing. Mine is in the back 40 like a sad, neglected step child. 🥲

You just gotta keep that handsome hubby of yours from beating things so hard. Might be time to get him a punching bag or some new chew toys. 🤣

@TheBlackSheep, Casey and Dan, It was good to meet both of you as well. I appreciate your filming methods along the way. Casey watching you pilot you 60 made me feel like I was cheating in mine at times.

Not gonna lie, my little noodle arms and clutch foot were tired by the end of the day! Love your rig. Never failed to bring a smile to my face when we passed each other.

Not sure how to send Dan’s giant videos, I’m semi-technology illiterate, but if anyone has any ideas, let a gal know! 😅

Has a solution been found for this?
Referring to the Sniper 2300 fuel injector issues. There is no known off the shelf solution for this yet. We were fortunate to have one of our awesome sponsors roll through about the time we realized shipping from Holly or similar would be 5-10 days out. @kelly saad owner of Land Cruiser Grills had a sniper in his shop in Flagstaff AZ. He had his shop package, deliver to UPS and shipped within an hour. Many thanks for going above and beyond Kelly.
Injectors arrived next day and we had the 40 running again in less than 10 minutes.

PSA: if you run a Sniper 2300 on your Cruiser I suggest having a couple of spare injectors in your tool kit. Easy to diagnose and repair but with parts being specific to this application there is no known VatoZone, Napa or O'Daley's off the shelf part yet.
Sniper 2300 fuel injector part number. 522-101X is the factory part number.

My favorite thing about leading trails is meeting new cruiser heads…and breathing the fresh air up front!
Clear lake on Monday.

I was happy to help with My Sniper. Glad it actually worked so you could get that 40 back out there.

It was the BEST day! I’m thankful to have the support of all the ladies who trusted me to lead them (many for the first time) and to the men who can and supported their ladies! Most rad day I’ve had in a long time!

Nice man. I didn't realize you had scrambled up there. Cool shot and a fitting memorial run up "Loyal Lane."
