Maureen & I have arrived home safe & sound. Great work by all & greatly appreciated. See you next year.

This is a picture we took that is about 2 hours from home.

I had some. Jim, they look great. Thanks again.

Ah right - you swapped for them. PM me your address and I’ll post the fasteners tomorrow or Tuesday!
I misread your post, you had fasteners on hand and have them installed. FWIW Auveco 20247 works best.

By the way, I kept side eyeing my tires on the way home. Yikes, they look awful. Tread is 20%, sidewall cracks, uneven wear. Let me get through assembly on my new 2F and then I’ll get in touch about tires. My four remaining brain cells can usually only process one thing at a time.

Finally home about 90 minutes ago. Unloaded straight into the alley garage, resting my right leg now, maybe we’ll give Matilda a bath this evening so I can drive it to work tomorrow.

I keep wondering if I can have the 40 ready for SAS10, and if I can push an original 1969 F motor and 7.00-15 bias ply tires from Denver to Ouray and back. It does have a hard top, so we’d stay dry.

Spotted this Stout by the side of the road on the way home. Looks like she runs: plates, tags, air in the tires. Has there ever been a Stout at SAS? Not a Land Cruiser, but it’s a solid front axle Toyota…

Finally got my front driveshaft issue sorted out … on the way home. The entire Classic Cruisers gang are a joy to be around.

We’ll see what my film photos look like. Usually not great, but you never know. Anyway, thanks to @POTATO LAUNCHER @CenTXFJ60 @samc2447 (missed ya) Tim, Chanette, Maureen, @mesa man @Mesa Woman Maggie, SHAY, @ThatKOAGuy and the rest of the gang for all the hard work y’all put in to lay the ground work for all of us to have such a good time. Karen and I always have such a blast and I was honored to be a sponsor again this year. Already excited for next year … a fresh 2F, 4.11s, new tires, and probably a few other fun improvements. And of course all of our old and new Cruiser nerd friends.

Stout is IFS 🥲

Also want to take a moment to recognize the KOA itself as well as @ThatKOAGuy for all the work they have done over the last 12 months. It was easy to tell that they have improved just about everything. Watching the employees…groundskeepers up to the folks at the front desk…well trained & always busy.

I believe they have done a good job on trying to meet the needs of our very large & diverse group. Nothings perfect, but overall…GOOD JOB & thanks.

Is there a link to the Wednesday group photos?

Many thanks
I don't think Ian and Erik are done yet. I know they were downloading photos to a laptop at camp Friday as I was rolling out and I know Ian was on the road Friday & Sat.

They also had the Cruise-her photos to process as well.
Many thanks to Erik and Ian, I know Shelley is excited to see the CruiseHer pictures, these guys were hustling on Thursday! 🙌🏻

I made it home without issue and am really looking forward to going back next year. I appreciate everyone who had a hand in organizing and sponsored the event, I had a lot of fun but by rear end is still recovering from all the seat time.

I met a lot folks some I knew and made a lot of new friends who’s names I cannot remember all of but I hope you know who you are.

I did trash a tie rod end and broke my welded sway bar, nothing that couldn’t be resolved easily

It was cool to see this many 45s in spot.

I ran into this SWB 45 going over Black Bear as well. Pretty cool stock 45, wish had a chance to get a picture together but the groups were moving pretty quickly. The driver is on Mud but wasn’t part of the SAS group.

I ran up Imogene with Bruno in his stock 45. He made it look easy. I felt like I went back in time following his 45 up the trail.

It was really cool to see you and the Milk Truck at SAS Dennis! I’m hoping to have you with me on a run next year, and maybe you could lead or tailgun a trail if you’re interested. I will be trail leader wrangler and organizer next year to encourage more volunteer Leaders to sign up and help guide small groups of rigs. There will be exclusive swag for trail leaders!
Really great your truck is nearly dialed in.
I’d also like to plan a hike and I know you like to move your legs and it would just be cool to hike with “Ranger Milligan”! Maybe learn a few new tricks! I need to up my game and I figure if I surround myself with inspiring people who encourage me to be a better person it will rub off on me, hopefully! Thanks for joining us, we really appreciate you Sir!

I volunteer to create a website for next year.

…and maybe during the event, too, if my Cruiser is back together in time. It’s so close.

Thanks for telling me the saga of your 45 Dennis. Great truck!

@mesa man There were so many different groups/trail runs it is tough to get on a run everyone, hopefully next year we make a run together. I might be up for leading a drive and hike combo next year. I really enjoyed all the seat time but I am just as happy on two legs, so next year I will probably try to identify a few hikes I would like to get to.

Not yet. Ian said he would have photos ready ASAP. He will be editing and pulling selects prior to releasing them.

plain. Eric and Ian did a fantastic job chasing amazing shots in camp and on the trail.
Special thanks to @ThatKOAGuy for the outstanding job he and his team did for our group this year. Made a huge difference.
Lastly I'd like to thank our sponsors. Without them we wouldn't have the raffle to show appreciation for everyone attending. We were able to raise nearly $4500 that went directly to Ouray Mountain Rescue to support their volunteers and dedication to getting people off the mountains when in need.
On behalf of the SAS team of volunteers I thank you for spending your vacation with us. It's truly a pleasure.
Casey..
