IMHO, it will be hard to sell for over $15k.
Most people I know into rock crawling will tell ya it has to much body on it and I agree. So chances are somebody wanting a rock crawler won't buy it.
Modified trucks are hard to sell, I myself have sold a bunch of them and never recovered my cash. Examples: 04' Taco I had about $40k into, best offer I had was $17.5k. 84' FJ60 with a Ramjet and lots of other goodies, (easy $20k into it) and I sold it for $12k. 83' Nissan Patrol, had about $50k into it and put it up for sale for $25k. Not a a single bite so I parted it out. 64' Nissan Patrol, well over $15k into it and sold it for $6k. 73' 6x6 Pinzgauer, had nearly $40k into it and sold it for $20k.
From my experience this is not a hobby you make money on! When I sell a truck though I am not usually in a position to sit on it for a year or more waiting for the right buyer. I have got a friend though that always breaks even or close to it when he sells a truck. Thing is he is never usually in the truck more than $10k and he usually has trucks that are easier to sell, aka 4-Runners, mini-trucks, ect.
Now if it had a "Proffits" or "Slee" or "TLC" or whatever well know shops name on it you may be able to fetch $25k. I won't get into that other then to say people who build trucks are picky and cheap, meaning as buyers and people who don't build them are clueless plus usually worry about if it was "done right".
Good luck though and I hope you get a lot of what you have into it back.
Oh ya and also from my experience build threads don't usually help with a sale. To much detail and honesty in them is my guess why. In fact nearly ever truck I have ever sold, the buyer never looked at a build thread before buying it.
