Zach, the rig looks sick:grinpimp: You've had a lot of events during this truck's build, both good and bad, but whatever happens, remember that you'll have an awesome machine once done.

That flex is impressive as hell. I can't wait to see this beast out on the trails!

That flex is impressive as he'll. I can't wait to see this beast out on the trails!

thanks man. To top it off my air compressor died Friday but No worries about the issues... I was a lilttle bummed at first but I just did what my wife does when she gets down. RETAIL therapy! Ordered my aals, coil springs, and my cables are on there way. Most of the stuff should be here early in the week. I plan on starting/planning my traction bar Monday morning. :)

I also ordered a new fuel pump. The one that came with my powerjection 3 works just fine but it is LOUD! You cant hear it in the videos but it buzzes way too much for my liking. I'll keep the other as a spare.

Bumper, sliders, bump stops, plumb the arb, and some body work next.

This POS will hit the trail SOON!

I was dealing with some health issues so no real progress but I'm doing much better again. I think I am going to tackle bending some tube for bumpers next...

In other news:

Owner of 2 Swagger Wagons now.

That van is sweet! My mom had a 1991 Previa when I was a kid. I miss it.

Hope you continue to feel better!

I was getting carried away spinning my tires a little bit around the neighborhood the other day. Then I looked at the rear leafs afterwards and I had snapped those small bolts in the front that hold that pin in place...apparently a traction bar is a good idea...

Noted!!!!

Either you just like minivan's or there could be an addition to the family coming. Got any time this week, like Wednesday to play after work?

I am open tonight or thurs... My daughter has a dance recital thing tomorrow night.

NO MORE KIDS!!!! 3 is enough!

I'll have to admit though... the "real" swagger wagon is really nice to drag the kids around in. I suspect that they'll prefer riding in the "blue" swagger wagon once its on the road though. :)

Hahahahaha... ok

So the order of business Tues night was to get the alignment done and get my heavier main coilover springs on. Without a proper car lift things got interesting getting the springs on. I dont know how the heck I got them on in the first place.

First Mike explained to me in great detail on how to set up the "alignment" bars that we made and how they work... and after about 10 mins of his detailed explanations the info finally sunk in and I understood what we were doing. lol

Next was the main springs. With a 3 link, the axle moves laterally in an arc depending on compression or droop. Since the new main springs were a bit taller than the previous set up that meant that the axle shifted to the frame side panhard mount. This meant that the panhard had to be removed and lengthed to compisate for the added ride height ( sad about this). After a few hairy moments we got the springs back on but the axle was difficult to move because the wheels on the floor jacks were bound up.

SOOOOO.... I got to use my new tool:

Great little winch and I can see it being handy for a variety of things.

also got my new dash completed although I'm still not happy with it. I wish I had a mill. :)

Time to cut those front spring points .. and send to me those greasable pins ..:D

Why you increase main coil length .?

Every time I am about to cut those perches they end up being handy. Their day is numbered though. The greasable pins are all yours at that point.

I increased the spring rate and length for a couple reasons. The aals increased the height in the back so I had to adjust for that. Next at full droop the springs would go slack even with "triple rate" springs in there. And last because I didn't like how soft the suspension was.

I am going to wheel like this for now. I just don't have the energy to cut off the front suspension again to lower it. When the time comes to do that I will also 4 link the rear...

I just want to wheel it for now. No more going backward.

You need longer shocks in this coil overs. ;-)

Looking good.

Sick man, good work

Planning on lowering the front end? It might be perspective, but it looks 1000 feet off the ground in that shot.
