Lookin good

Sick man, good work

Planning on lowering the front end? It might be perspective, but it looks 1000 feet off the ground in that shot.

Yes, it is higher than I want. The frame sits right at 30" with the 42s at 30psi. I added to some aals to the rear (too spongy back there with the 63s) and had to add some longer coil springs in the front to even it out. At this point I am just going to roll with it for awhile. I am not going back to fix the height at this point until I chop the top and link the rear. Its not great but its not terrible either.

Thank you sir!

looking great brother.... It is one of the few 60s that i can say might be as tall as mine :D...

Again, taller than I want but at some point I'd like to get the frame down to about 25" with the 42s when I link the rear.

:bounce: Right on man! We going to see some trail this summer?

Inchin' forward my man. By the way... that leak from the other night was not the axle seal. It was a loose brake hose! Problem fixed!

Thanks to everyone that has been following this long long long build and the encouragement along the way. There is still tons to do but I'm happy so far.

My littles are happy too.

And... my teenager and I just got back from a cruise in it. She drove...

This is how I want to look on my first ride in it!

Congrats man. Hope you see some dirt soon and I would be proud to join you on the maiden voyage.

Did you mess with shock pressures at all? (if you can)

Yes a bit. Playing with the pressure makes some difference but the coils were much needed. I think 450s would have been better but I can live with this. Seems as if the the front end settled an inch or two too.

you would consider ( not that you will do any time soon ) 450 over 350 good combo given your setup .. ?

Really depends on the use of the 60 is and the weight. If it were a trail only/crawler you could go a lot lighter on the springs. My 60 is set up to be multi-use so I defaulted to a stiffer set up... Yes, to answer specifically though.

As crazy as this might sound but one of my most prized possessions in life is most likely going to be up for sale. Yes, I mean big blue. Circumstances in my life are changing right now and I am more than likely going to need to part with her in favor of DD type of vehicle.

I have yet to determine a price because of the build nature of my 60 but I will get a price once a get a chance to sit down and add up some of the value of parts. I am open to all offers and trades at this point. This is not set in stone yet but is a likely scenario. I understand I will never re-coup the cost of what I have into it so my expectations on a trade or price are realistic.

Please PM me with interest/trades.

Zach

It's just a truck (although a darn nice one) and it's only money.

the next build will be better. They always are.

Good luck on where ever this journey takes you.
