i have the prinus, and i must say i'm very very impressed, he's a one man operation and althought i was told 4 weeks it was actually about 8 so the rack is great and very well designed and high quality just takes a while id say 10 weeks would be a safe bet

Was checking out the Frontrunner and came across their light bar add-on, thought it was pretty cool they designed it to flip back when you're not using, someone mentioned earlier but they really do have a lot of accessories: https://www.frontrunneroutfitters.c...spot-combo-w-off-road-performance-shield.html
Yea, I've had front runner racks on two trucks now, and the bolt on accessories is where you can really tailor to your needs. I used to run an OzTent and wolf pack boxes, then a fox wing and dry bad and their propane attachment, to now tables a RTT, awning, and propane. Some where in there I had a rotopax. Plus not having to strap stuff down is awesome, it's just bolted where you want.

Anyone have a stock rack their looking to sell? Looking for the side rails.

I have one sitting in my garage. PM me an offer, not sure about shipping costs though

If you dismantle it completely, it will fit in a 6x6x~40 box (or so) and IIRC cost about $25 to ship. I had sold mine on ebay

Also pretty happy with my Gamiviti and having Tim local is awesome. I just wanted a basic flat rack and this fit the bill.

Nice to see that on a LX570. I believe the mounting points are different than on a 200 series LC?
Does the Gamiviti come with 4 mounting points on each side or 3 only? I'm thinking maximum weight distribution would be ideal.

The Rock Warrior rims look nice. I have the TRD rims and want to powdercoat them black some day - "TRD Pro" the cheap way.

Thanks, actually mounting points on the LX and LC are the same. They each have four mounting points on each side. The difference is the LX gets a shorter factory rack than the LC.

You could probably have him design it to use all four on each side but it seems plenty stout just using three points. It's all very stout steel so I would not be too concerned.

Thanks, I had the rock warriors on my 100 and luckily had a spare set when I got this one. I do like the TRD pro look and it really looks good on your color also. You can always just plasti-dip them till you get time to mess with powder coating.

Looks like a copy of Gamiviti

Are you sure its not a copy of a Baja, GOBI, Voyager, BrownChurch, ARB, Rhino, Safety Device's, Wild Boar, Barricade? OR if I would have made it from square tube it would be a ConFerr, Garvin, Surco, Wilderness...... Heard it all before. BLAH BLAH BLAH.

Gotta agree...
There are only so many ways to make a rectangular platform.

Sorta like coolers, side mirrors, bumpers, etc. Some things are bound to resemble each other...

Someone posted that my ClearView towing mirrors I ordered from Australia looked like copies of Ford F-Series.
So I posted mirrors from Dodge, Ford, Chevy and others, and...OOPS! They ALL looked nearly identical.
:)

Only thing that is similar, IMO, to Gamiviti and mine are the mount plates. Tim and I spoke about this several months ago. Similar, but different and even though I have engineered drawings (1994) from an oilfield service company, a release letter AND submitted for patent pending on the plates and a few other parts with the approval of the engineer of record I still told Tim once I ran out of the plates I would change them slightly again to try to differentiate between the two even more. I even told him if he ever had an issue with this from another company to let me know and I'd support him with that documentation as I have the authority to use and modify the drawings as I deem fit. This all came about because Gobi was suing small fabricators for making similar, yet different products.

I understand close ties with friends and preferred vendors. I have them as well.

No worries :D It was just my first thought when I looked at the pictures. You make nice stuff and love your bumpers. Been thinking about swapping the one on my 40

Does anyone have the distance between the roof of the LC and the bottom of a Prinsu rack. Is there enough room to store your maxtrax? Kind of like front runners table storage pocket. I want to be able to mount an RTT on the top.

Thanks,

TC

I’ll try to get a measurement this evening, but pouring rain at the moment. Great idea though....at first glance they might have to be mounted individually, might be pretty tight stacked.
