Build Resto-mod on my 55 has begun

Had a blast. Most of my buddies here are Ford guys. Except for the Blazer “Turd” he calls it. It actually hailed while we were there.

Well, it’s off to paint. Going with Toyota Dune Beige #416. Should be a month to complete. No PP2021 for me sadly. It is progress though.

It looks awesome even without paint! Mine is still at the SRD shop and I need to borrow or rent a truck to get the engine/trans and axles up to them... When I started my project I secretly thought I might get mine running before yours but that's not happening. LOL

The cage is done and seats are mounted. I have the 2005 Tundra engine and trans ready to go. I have all the shocks, rear 9" full floater, front Ruff Stuff 9.5" housing and FJ80 front axle parts for it. I have the wheels and tires. I have all the weatherstripping except the rear side doors 1/4 window rubber.

I thought I'd be driving it 5-6 years ago. I won't be doing this again, but super glad I did.
 
I was going to check in on you the other day. Been so quiet. Glad to see progress, sorry there is no PP21.
