V8s rock. A 6.0 is a great choice in a fj60. If you don't like the power of the 2f in the 40 you could drop in a 6.0 or put the 350 back in:rimshot:
Kidding of course
I’ve got a 5.3 40 build that’s creeping along. It won’t be stock, can’t wait to see how much different than the 2F it is.

More details. We replaced the plastic bushing with a custom 2pc full length sintered impregnated bronze oil lite bushing. Stainless hardware is going Rustic Green. Finally finished the lift, The bolts had to be shortened. Lockouts are installed.

We are still wrapping up details, I have finally gotten the confidence to spray expensive paint/clear on parts that show. @dlzadl is expecting the custom vent glass any day and we’ll move the doors towards assembly. We are getting close to putting the lid on this build.

As usual, the kids have me busy as well. The youngest and I have been picking away at an old school ‘87 LT80.

And to make things even more exciting, I decided to add another Britt to the pack. He’ll be ready for his first season.

As most everyone knows, the spare tire carrier isn’t happy with a 10.5” tire on it. I had thought about using a wheel spacer or even the square tubing but wanted a clean solution. The local steel supplier was able to bend into shape, we’ll take it the rest of the way.

Nice solution…

My Buckeye Brother, this is so much better than "new". Take a bow....

Well, while the fat lady is warming up, I'd take one. 👈

I thought I was browsing one of those FJ Company builds for a second.

Beautiful.

After all that hard work, you deserve it.
