It shows. Would you be willing to share some of your trade secrets? I am getting ready to do mine and would like for it to look as nice as yours. Thanks!
I didn’t do it, but in a nutshell, the cracks were cleaned up and filled and then multiple rounds of sanding and refilling happened. Followed up with primer/paint.

Thanks Chungas, @rkymtnflyfisher and I were recently wondering where you disappeared to. Good to see you back.

Well I guess I went on a “walk about”...

It feels good to be here. I haven’t spoken “Yot-ish” for quite some time. I’m still trying to get my sea legs back.

Not much has changed, except rust is cool and there are at least 15 ways to install a Sniper.

Today we pulled the wing windows and door glass out of storage for new glass to be cut.

Also, with the exception of the windshield hold downs and wing window frames, the last of the 621 is being laid down, as I type.

There's some evidence in the ole' Gaaarage that this is not your 1st rodeo. Going to catch up on your thread next...!
We brought in some big guns to help with this build.

Just finished up your thread this AM behind a pot of Post Alley Dark Roast. I gotta' tell ya cuzz watching your work/progress was a ride in itself. Impeccable, methodical and clean to the core..!

By the last page I'd developed an all too familiar itch. I reckon better not scratch it while the Mrs is guarding the credit card.

Well done sir, well done.....What else you building??

Thanks for the kind words. It’s definitely been a labor of love. I’m slowly building a 5.3 restomod in a ‘68 next.

First cruiser you start taking apart and you head down the rabbit hole. Makes you realize you need another to drive.
Now the first one is expensive for the tools you are buying to make it nice. Once done sell it And buy number three. This is where you chose to either start wrenching on number two or dive into number three.
Either way this one will be nicer than number one. It will be more expensive too as you will buy more and better tools. You can afford it from the “profit” you made on number one. By this time you are either divorced, your wife agrees with your hobby or she just gave up and acts like she doesn’t notice what is going on.
In the end it is all about the journey the faster you travel the less you see and the more it will cost………

My whole life just flashed before my eyes...
