These are so cool I'm jealous I didn't think of it myself....
Maybe a stupid question: any thought about bug screens for when the window is open and you don't want to get malaria or West Nile virus?

Dont have screens for our flip up but I do have window socks available for the 2nd row windows. They are nice giving you the choice of the window partly down of all the way. The window mod without the key on gives the ability to open and close windows through out the night as the temps change.

Panels are now milled finish both sides:cool:

Question for the guys of interest -

What are your plans for the finish of the window? We are having a hard time getting both sides with a milled finish (see pics below). Because our windows will fit both sides by just flipping in over we wanted milled finish on both sides for appearance if no other finish was wanted. If most are planning to paint, cover with vinyl, or graphics of some sort we will straight 5052 aluminum with no milled finish to keep both sides the same.

Not milled finished

I'm planning on paint or vinyl. I would like black paint but I think a silver vinyl to match body would be best for heat where I am at.

I was planning a custom vinyl on the out side and not to concerned about the inside.

A recent question on opening size & height -

My 80 equipped with 850J/863 315's
To the bottom lip of the opening is 55"
Opening - 17" x 30.5"
At 6' I have no problem touching the floor inside
The wife of our first window loved it so much has already ordered 2 more at 5'4" tall:)

Shipping done waiting for panels. Will post up when on our site and ready to go

Local would be the Phoenix area
