And i guess thats why i mentioned that i didnt want it that way, i just want a smaller ballon and not have it attached both ends, seemed a better idea for towing heavy and occasion offroad.

I had a phone discussion with the representative from Seattle for OME springs about shock lengths. Got into the airbag thing.

IF you are running leaf springs, and in an essentially stock configuration. You will damage the springs by over extending them
by force. OME shocks are manufactured as limiting devices for your springs. I queried as the springs were hanging free weighted with
tires when I had to actually jack up the axle to install the shocks. This is normal and the shocks are designed with internal stops
for extension limits. SO - if you put on airbags and don't over inflate them ( which is kinda stupid and unnecessary anyhow ) then
trying to find an airbag which is unattached at one end isn't necessary.
I purchased the BOSS 09AT which have the 3 bubbles and when the axle hangs free under weight with tires the airbag is very slightly
extended, as in millimeters. I was worried about the bags being pulled apart as well.
I installed the shocks from OME and it's good. I so far have put 10 lbs of air in the bags, and with medium wheeling it flexs and rides like
a completely stock truck. Don't even know the bags are there. When I get the RTT and all my long range gear in I'll see but expect
run the air as minimal as I can just to keep the truck balanced and the fenders off the tires through the ditches.
My .02 so far. Big trip coming up, I'll load up and get some pics and post them and see how it runs.

to be honest , i dont know much about all this cruiser stuff, i only bought my rig to tow a 3500kg trailer, and the strictness of the laws here only allowed for a few car variants in my price range. So i figured to run some bags under the back when towing that type of load, it seemed easier to just have a puff bag to install.smaller kit.

Just put a set on my 40 too

Just got home from up north. I have to be honest, fully loaded and it sits like it should. No ass sag!!
Carrying 215 litres of fuel, fully loaded rear bumper, RTT and it sits level and rides great
Top 3 of best mods for a long range truck!!

How much air pressure does everyone run in their airbags? I am kinda surprised,
cause I run 8 lbs without full fuel and gear. But I only run 13-14 lbs max with the truck fully loaded

Do they make brackets for a U bolt reversal?
What engine do you have in that grey 60 Cruiserpilot

I have 411s but not the 12ht. I hate you.
Desmogged 2f. One day I'm hoping to get on that heart transplant list.

Don’t know about the brackets. Its actual colour is Black Jade, running 12HT
recently geared with 4.11’s for better all around
Why didn't you go 456 or 488?

I got an AirLift Dual analog gauge, but I'm going to find something with much
smaller scale now that I've used it for a while. This gauge is 0-100. Just never going
to go that high.

The way I use my truck I just load it. Set height manually and use it. Let it all out after I unload it. No gauge. No compressor.

Yeah, just looking as I'm a bit OCD. BTW, don't run them empty. Always keep some air in them, not supposed to
run with no air.

Yes and I’ll keep a bit of air in them all the time for body roll which my 84 has a lot of with only one swaybar

No air. With the tent on and nothing inside I sit at 36” ground to under fender front and 35” rear

Just 10# air put it level at 36” all around

You mentioned they help with sway. I have dual sway bars but she still leans a bit, especially with RTT and Awning.

Good question. I’ll go get it and see.

I leveled it out front and rear at 36” then juiced them to 90psi and it went up to 38.5”
