Cost and were they easy to install? I also have a U bolt reversal kit. With this cause issues for the install?

Thank you.

I think I could use a set in the rear. Fully loaded down, much heavier than normal. Moved some thing back across country. Put her on a truck scale 7460 pounds.

Yeah, they were in invented for you! Welcome to SLOCRUISERS
You are looking at LA09 or LA09T. The T is for up to 6" lift. They are normally built for
sitting on the axle tube using the ubolt to secure. But with the ubolt reversal kit I think maybe
look at the kit for SOA. It requires time to be created. Contact John @ Slocruisers
He was kind enough to call me back and sort out issues I had. Really good person!
They are also on ebay with good explanations and better pictures.

I've been eyeing the boss airbags from slocruisers for about a year now. This thread has inspired me to finally pull the trigger. Mine should arrive next week and will be going on my tired stock suspension

Sick I need this kit for mine

Did anyone make a custom locator foot for the air bags so one side can free float when the diff is radically crossed up and it simply uses the U bolt shape to locate when one or both sides are loaded. I took the liberty of making a paint drawing.

I saw this today on Instagram and thought of you

That is nicely done! I'd go for that. Just have to see what these airbags I bought look like
and how they work out. I suppose a person could do that with any airbag

Thank you I'll try to get around to calling them in a few days.

Well, I got mine on and done. Went with OME Heavies and 09T Boss Airbags. Havent' loaded it up yet, but
so far I'm pretty impressed. Took it out last night, and it handled everything really well.
Pics now, since blah, blah, blah....

Its a pair of those SumoSprings. The kit was on sale at the local spring shop so I bought them on a whim.
Fortunately Toyota has exact same ubolt pattern for Tacoma as my 60, so a slight cut to the bracket and they
mounted right on the spring perch as designed. They are cool, I went out last night and they sucked up a couple of
heavy front 'dives' through cross ditching and some narly trail stuff.

I just looked up SumoSprings. So, that’s a Taco kit. Would they work on the front of a normal 2.5” lifted 60? Great idea.
I would think so. I got a discounted price, they are an airbag replacement. I was so back and forth on what I wanted and finally
ended up with proper airbags.
These state that at half compression they are absorbing 1000 lbs, so its kind of like a graduated bump stop up front for me,
or that 's the way I'm looking at it.
I did see some comment from a competitor on the King of the Hammers that had installed them on the front of competition
buggy. The feedback was positive and stated that it smoothed out the ride quite a bit. So that was what I'm going for.
I don't have a front sway bar, and even with brand new extra heavies on the front, it did get into them a bit.
Time will tell.
I dont' think you'd lose putting them on the front of a normal lift, should smooth it out if nothing else.

This is what the bracket that Boss supplied for my U bolt flip looks like. It sits diagonally on the flip kit top plate and is held down by the u bolt nuts. It required that the u bolts be cut flush with the nuts.

We over think and over kill everything in finland. Its growing on me. Ok thanks grogy.
Not sure if you understand the air bags are secured top and bottom
( both ends) to the truck. Bottom to axel/ U bolts, top to holes where bumpstops used to be on frame.
There is nothing to shift

And i guess thats why i mentioned that i didnt want it that way, i just want a smaller ballon and not have it attached both ends, seemed a better idea for towing heavy and occasion offroad.
