Rear FJ60 Air Lift / Boss Air Bag Install

I'm trying to decide whether I should go for the 2-lobe or the 3-lobe kit and it seems like a toss-up with an OME lift and shocks (they're all listed as 2" lifts). I'm leaning towards saving $50 and going for the 2-lobe kit, even though I have 9 springs in my rear leaf packs. Is there a compelling reason to get the 3-lobe kit instead?

I would assume the 3 lobe would offer the correct amount of stretch/length that would be needed with the articulation of an OME lift.

That’s very well said. I got the 3 lobe set for my OME lift. I run between 8 - 15 psi.

3 lobe with the OME 2" lift for me. Has worked well for a few years.

Installing a set right now, nice stuff ! Was wondering if anyone installed this with on board air / gauge ??

I did, dual paddle with gauge to control each side.

Just wanted to say thanks to all who have contributed to this thread. It proved very helpful in putting Boss airbags in my HZJ77. The dual-bulb 60 Series bags are virtually a direct fit on the 70 series, with a slight mod to the diff breather being the only change necessary. If anyone arrives here searching for 70 series installs, I've added a few details in my build thread. Here is a direct link to the page so one doesn't have to search through years of other stuff.

Not an intrusion. Every bit helps! I’m glad they are good for you as well. Curious as to how you routed
air lines. I ran both up the trans tunnel along the floor then over to the air cleaner under the hood. That way
it’s close to compressor for me.
