you rock Hawkeye! :)

any suggestions on installing the Southco latches? looks like they need to be mounted pretty high on the drawer face.

Every latch style and model is different. Before cutting your drawer front always double check all your math so you get it right the first time. Many of the SC latches are designed for use with 1/4" Aluminium or steel doors, so sometime it is necessary to modify the bracket that holds the latch to the drawer front. In my experience it is best to make the drawer front of a single layer of 1/2" ply. This make it relitivly easy to install the latches.

not sure yet..... I will store the jack in the drawer for now. I need to find some latches to secure a pop off lid over the wheel well....

need to tighten up some areas of carpet, then line the drawers with black carpet, and finally mount in the truck...

Still thinking about adding 2 pop up lids for the rear

That looks really nice. Excellent work. I haven't yet built one for my current rig, but on my previous rig I had one and found an old truck bed mat for cheap on Craigslist. I then cut that up and lined the top of the unit with that and then the tailgate also. I am afraid I will ruin the carpet.

drawers carpeted with charcoal grey. Planning to paint the visable wood sides black as well...

you could weld tabs at each arm/swing of the 4x4 Labs rear bumper, and put a lock to tied them together. Makes locks on drawers redundant. That is what i am doing myself.

getting closer....

That's impressive work man, wish I had the patience and skill to do that kind of woodwork.

got the box bolted to the cabin floor.... used 4- 10MM, 1.25 thread, 60mm long bolts. then put a nut on the end of each bolt as it exited the bottom of the floor pan. It isnt going anywhere now....

I think I like the carpet look better than the original plan of Line-X....

I leveraged the AO design and they use a recessed design.. plus it looks better than a flat front IMO
