Got drivers side done!

Still got a bunch of little stuff to truly button it all up.

Question- should I go for the rotisserie or fix this first?

Yeah, that’s one of my next areas to tackle. Crazy how this area rusts from the inside out, all due to the floor mat back there trapping moisture.
I’m planning on first cutting spot welds on the flat overlap portion of the transition, then cutting right near the 90ish degree transition itself. Ascertain whether the floor is salvageable or needs to have new metal grafted in. Then treat what’s salvageable, fab whatever patch pieces need made, zinc primer those, then zap back together.

Yes, one piece with a bend. Thought I explained that better...
One rule of manufacturing, make product with as few as parts and little amount of labor as possible. And yes, emulate the overlap on the floorboard like factory, just prep it correctly and seam seal both sides when done. I’m also doing mine in sections, as opposed to cutting out the entire thing.

So my thoughts are a dynamat/Linex flooring. Even with hard wire wheeling the floor is solid. Lucky!

I am just wondering if I should replace this section because it is all pock marked. Strong but ugly but hidden under all the above mentioned.

I didn't replace areas like that on mine, but I did try to run an awl through the questionable spots to make sure it wasn't too thin.
