When I released one of the tack weldsit popped. I think I got it tho and am going to try to weld in the floor board tomorrow.
Just gonna take it slow!

Side repair- the standard 2x4 hole.

Tomorrow hope to weld in the rocker!

Got a big piece in today! As well fixed 3 holes in the fender flare.
Some tough looking spots on the welds but can fix the horrible ones and then will be Linexed so not too sad about my learning welding skills.
Into assembly now! Yeah!!!
At least on the passenger side.

Yeah, this piece was not as fun to get in. I have it heavily tacked in and plan on finishing the welding when it doesn’t burn my stomach multiple times!!
Rotisserie- a long time dream. It’s too cool!
Pretty grubby work, but when once completely burned in I will break out the magic grinder. I am much better at that!

Welding upside down is the worst. When you do drivers side floor, try to get supports in before floor.

When I did the floorboard I had to get the supports in first because they held everything in place. The whole thing shifted when I had cut the last tack weld.
Today gonna get all the way around the rear corner. Then on to the driver side with all its challenges. Gonna be looking for more advise for sure!

My daddy always said it was better to be luck than smart! The black stuff on the floor was worrying me. Only on driver side, nice! Appropriate tools and done in 30mins!
Maybe a little left.
