If you're going to build something new put a good filter in there.
The cone or K&N cotton gauze style filters are good for flowing air but suck at filtering dirt'
This uses the The Donaldson P610875 PowerCore Air Filter and pulls cold air from the area you're looking at.

Lots of information on the internet about the particle size that gets filtered out VS CFM air flow on both the K&N and Donaldson Powercore filters.

When JMack speaks I become all ears.

Very big filter. Not sure I can get in there. After a bit of study the fender drops away where JMack mounted his. At my location my fender pushes into the hood.

My buddy DAVE, once again,had this which might serve as an easier (my skills) fabbing opportunity.

What ya’ll think?

If I go with this gonna need a new location for my windshield water spray bottle.
