Looks like you’re doing what I’m gonna do too. Looking forward to seeing how that looks 😃👍🏼

On a visit to a good friend years ago, “what is that smell?” I asked upon entering his kitchen, “carb cleaner in the sink” was the reply. Stainless sink with a 4bbl carb soaking in it, just undo the drain and put it back in the jug when done!

Same fellow had a glass top on a V8 block for coffee table…batching it for sure!
Oh man, there was a flea market nearby that had a V8 block glass top coffee table. I was at said flea market with my wife and we came across it at the same time. They guy had put colored lights in each cylinder...

I stood there staring at this most awesome of interior decorations and my wife could just hear the gears in my little brain turning. She fully knew that if I were a single man that coffee table would be SOLD. I think she gently led me away and reminded me how lucky I was to be married to her...

This flea market!
In yet another example of my inability to stay on topic, the flea market closed and they have now torn the building down, but the sign remains on the side of I-80:

I really like the looks of the blinkers, they make more sense for smacking branches on the trail and guys like me walking past them. I don't know how many times I hit mine in the shop.
70 series...

Got the idea from Scrappdaddy.

The car was on a rotisserie which made the job my viable for me.

Tube roller was the big tool to make it work. I had it fit perfectly and then welded it up and everything changed. :/

I was happy that it still bolted right in. I have lots of pics of its construction earlier on.

Rush55 made one as well and has lots of pics.

JMack made a really beautiful rack on the outside that I am sure adds amazing structural support as well.

Everyone has pics! I just don’t have the specific pages.
