It's urs if you want it. You can't hurt it...and if so..it's usually easily fixed.

The Bronco seat from Tom's Bronco Parts fits to the mm. I'll post a few pix when it's done.

Gotta find a few 3 point belts at the junk yard.

Nite

:grinpimp: Scott did a great job on the research and found a really nice seat. The seat looks and fits great. Some of the others had great ideas and they seemed to fit, but for me some of them sit a to high for my little troopers. I will be getting the same seat. .

Can't wait for the pics... I'm thinking of buying that seat too.

Scott's fit perfect in his 79, what year is yours? Also where did you find it for $214, I'll order it this week. :)

Troll,

NOOOOOO I don't want to know where that seat came from for $214 shipped!!!! :crybaby: LOL.... I've looked and looked....lol.. Oh well, good for you bud. It's a good seat. I'll try to come up w/ a pic. The fit is perfect and it tumbles. I really like the other guys' ideas as well. The Chrysler is a great fit up there for a fixed seat. Nice job.

Well, here is the seat. Sorry it's not cleaned off and the rust from the deck and my little girl's crayola chalk that I used as a marker still shows through. It's literally a perfect fit. I love the other versions but wanted it to tumble.

Left a little room in the back. I know it's not a complex task but I hope it helps someone choose a seat. I'm happy w/ this one but I'd probably chase Troll's lead as the seats are identical and his is a better price (that's the purpose of the site). I paid $269 for the seat and $50 for shipping. I thought for the ones I've seen it was fair and fit tight (as well as tumbled).

Quick story: There is deck plate in the back b/c of some rust (which will be coming out) and under the plate, the PO had cut a hole in the floor and put a cigar box in it. I was hoping for ~$50,000 but found nothing. Was probably for contraband..lol.

Thanks all...

Ummmmm wrong seat, Will.

Nite all and thanks again. I'd like to see the older suburban seat and the other projects in progress. Also, Troll... Where the hell did you find that seat! lol

Nite.

That bronco seat look almost exactly like the Bestop TJ seat I just installed in the cruiser even the front mounting bracket look the same only the seat back looks a little different.
The Bestop TJ seat was 40in across and fit perfectly between the fenders and is also a fold and tumble.
It comes in vinyl or fabric and about 4 colors you can see it on Bestop's web page
If I remember right I payed 265 shipped to the door from a place on E-bay but I had to look around a while to find that price they usually go for about 300 every where else

The only complaint is I used the TJ seat to replace my Con-ferr rear seat and the old seat had the tool box.
I'm going to really miss that (but the people in the back I'm sure won't.)

Oh and by the way does any body need a rear Con-ferr seat with a tool box
100 obo and come pick it up

Anyone know how wide a 87-95 wrangler seat is? I was going to go with a TJ fold and tumble rear seat, but last year I bought the pro comp super seats in regular black vinyl. The TJ seats, and it looks like this Bronco seat, only come in the denim style material.

Im running into the same problem..so I've done sone research..If you got the money Beard sells a rear seat for the Yamaha Rhino..Its a suspension seat..made to hold 3 children..its 42" wide but will fit in between the wheel wells of a Cruiser. You can get it with 3 headrest..made for 3 point harness's...There's also a company in Lake Havasu City Az. that sells a better seat for the Rhino..I talked to them and checked out how they are built..Qaulity work and have a taller back than the Beard..Cost starts at about $600...I forgot the Company name..but will look it up if you are interested!

I have the Tracker seat in my Cruiser now..Wont work with three kids!!

Was out late this pm w/ the three kids (8, 7, 4 y/o's mind you) and the seat works w/ them. It won't last forever.. but that's when I put the jump seats back in that I love.

Just my $0.02, but I think that 42" seat will fit if ONLY if rises the ~7" above the wheel wells to ride over a bit. I'd think it wouldn't fit the ~ 41" wheel well or it would rub too much over time. But hell, that's just me. Let's see what you end up doing and good luck.

Second row seat out of a Dodge Caravan.Fabed up brackets for the Quick Release handles. On a slider(stock hardware)Folds down for a good spot for throwing jackets.Positioned for winter/Summer.Winter you slide the seat forward anyou wont rub a white line in your softtop.Summer you slide it back and it just misses the spare tire.Brackets mounted with angle iron under the tub to prevent tear out if some thing bad happens.Side covers at seat back hinge removed and reinstalled after easy mod for a total of three lap belts.Sits a little high for the Slider to work.Kinda like Stadium Seating.I can clearly see which kid is starting crap and brake check at the perfect moment.
